You can tell Letterman genuinely likes Ricky Gervais. He's been a guest 19 times, which will become 20 by tomorrow (17th Jan 2012) and for good reason, he's not just another Hollywood star promoting their next movie/tv show (though Ricky does do that with much gusto) - but he's also fun to interview. Letterman is never lost for words or scrambling for lame material when Ricky is on because a simple relaxed chat with Ricky is always funny.
