I am so not looking forward to the trim but we gotta do it. I wanna try a twist out too...maybe I will do this look for National Real Hair Day on the 8th.
I don't mean to criticize but why watch an entire video on natural hair update, only to say that the hair is "wrong" in some way. There are nearly a million vids on here with the type of hair you can appreciate - why not watch & enjoy those?
I'm so new too this too, but normally most usually trim their hair periodically and i chose to do mine every 4 to 5 months just to maintain heathly ends and growth. I did research as well to help me with my decision on the time frame that i thinks best for me. If you get time google healthy hair tips for African American hair. It may be helpful to you. Good luck and God bless.
Normally you should trim your ends every 6-8 weeks. If your hair is natural and you notice that ends tangle or knot up whenever you wash or style then it's time to trim them.
Thank you so much, i did see that time frame as well when i looked it up, i thought i'd get away with it since my ends are looking good. I think i'll take a half a inch off. We'll see. I go as long as i can to do a trim, you saw how sad i looked didnt you? LOL
