  • No such thing as a vegan. You use products that are made of animals. There is no way around it. You do it everyday. For example. Is your home made with lumber and sheet rock? Both contain fluid from animals.

  • @st4ticblu3 True dat. It's impossible.... plus I really love chicken e-e.. xD

  • From the intro of this video, the impression I'm given is that America isn't saving the world ... it's killing it. I've gone vegan again. :-) How about you?

  • What was that music in that video?

  • from the sources i collected the deadzone is attributed to nitrate and fertalizer runoff for corn production

  • I support Veganism too.

  • @veganfemaleathlete Yes veganism/vegetarianism rules Check out this video Is meat eating bad karma? /watch?v=ytEz2GQOVNk

  • These are not surprising figures, as meat is much tastier than wheat germ.

  • Boy, there is some really disturbing ignorance and selfishness on display here. Not unsurprising though, and in time they will reap what they sow. Thanks for trying VeganTruthist... :)

  • LOL I love the dipping the chicken in the toilet... are u guys crazy? last time i checked u didnt wash chicken before u cooked it, yet id like to see what ur GP would say u had if u dont wash potatoes before u eat them...

Pretty sure plants were grown in sht last time i checked too lol... Bein vegan is like havin a hybrid car, u make f.k all difference and still damage the environment but its cool to sit around with other ppl with hybrids and tell ppl who use petrol they are satanistic.

  • Meat is murder, tasty flame broiled delicious murder. Im going to KFC

  • @monofxide lmao

  • Do any of you comprehend the destructive nature of agriculture? Do any of you realize what it does to rivers and streams? Do you know what happens to crops in a drought? If you are a city dweller and you think a vegan diet is the future I challenge you to buy an acre of land and farm it. Do this for a couple years then let us know if it's feasible to do.

  • @manowar40 Its been done in the harshest conditions for thousands of years, even where never thought possible, crops have flourished, e.g. the Jainas in Nepal-the survival of humanity depended on it. Welcome to planet earth, strange commentator. You may go to a place called "library", and look at the vast historical proof, or since you obviously have access to the internet, please use it... sigh.

  • @manowar40 Agriculture is indeed the culprit, with the greedy factory farm machine creating the worst effect in climactic change leading to global warming. And that is why the CDC in conjunction with the UN and backed by thousands of scientist introduced a 400 page article about the environmental damage caused by factory farming in developed countries-no mention of crops.

  • @truth2748 People need to work together and stop attacking each other over diet, I think the vast majority of people are against factory farming but nobody seems to have a feasible plan on how to reduce it. The environmental degradation caused by crop production and livestock is killing our rivers and streams and if we don't act with a united front our children will pay a heavy price for our stubborn nature. Thanks

  • @manowar40 I was discussing the effects of Veganism, not a diet. We already have a productive and feasible plan to reduce climactic change, its called Veganism.

  • @truth2748 Sure, and I have some ocean front property in Arkansas if your interested?

  • @truth2748 That is absolutely ignorant.....we DO have a way to make the environment better and conserve energy.....its calle geothermal and wind energy and tidal energy.....it's a real solution...to just become a vegan and say you're helping is an absolute cop-out.....we have no need for oil anymore, and thats the WHOLE PLANET.....we just choose to be sheep of the corporate empire and allow them to keep us dependant on fossil fuels.......were all stupid for this

  • I support Veganism

  • Is anyone else really hungry for some good ol' KFC right now? How do you guys survive without the tender, delicious flesh practically falling from the bone as you gnaw and tear it off. holly shit is it tasty, goddamn imma eat some chicken right now! :D

  • @evilspaceinvader gross! i kind of remember my last chicken meal, it grossed me out, or my last BIG MAC... the way it made me feel... i guess many become vegetarian or vegan because they don't have IRON STOMACHS... i can remember some pig meat bothering me as a kid and into high school, even pepperoni on pizza gave me a blah feel... i'm not saying this is why i went LIGHTER ON THE STOMACH as a vegan but it sure helped! i started cutting out pig meat as a teen, then red meat, then poultry, fish

  • @evilspaceinvader Holly SHIT is right-Independent study conducted by New England University(July 2010). After several complaints from undercover videos showing shady slaughter tactics in certain facilities. "A controlled study of over 800 samples(KFC grilled chicken sandwich and among others) from KFC restaurants collected from east to west.-considerable amounts of feces, and several uncooked pieces found in 620 out of 800 samples". FDA is currently investigating. Enjoy your "shit" kid.

  • What I do not understand is if meat production is so expensive then why vegan meal is not cheaper than regular meal with meat? At least that is situation in my country. I am talking about normal meat regardless you eat it on workers restaurant or you prepare it by yourself.

  • @jakovcu they are lying to try and convert people to their beliefs

  • It is true what they say, calculations are fact: there would be no more hunger in the world if we would all go vegie. But it wouldn't be a utopia, because there will be other problems occuring. First that comes to mind is: overpopulation, with overpopulation comes: new diseases, epidemics etc.

I myself am a vegetarian, but I'm really puzzled about what the future is of this world if we go one way or another, so I strive to be as self sufficient as possible.

  • i am a meatatarian and proud of it, i don't eat a thing that's green

  • @cartoonkingforeever You aint gonna last very long.

  • @pennthebaker your propaganda has no proof behind it, the Inuits don't eat vegetables, they get their nutrients from raw liver which has the same nutrients in vegetables

  • @cartoonkingforeever Yeah you try living like that in a country where you're bombarded with pollution carconagens, free radicals, high stress, antibiotics, growth hormones and see how long you survive. Idiot! Inuits still live in some of the cleanest most pristine environments on earth! You probably live in a city...... now go eat your pre packaged, diseased, intensively farmed liver and nothing else and get back to me in a few months if you can still walk that is. Uneducated ignorant twat.

  • @pennthebaker no i live in a town asshole, it doesn't matter humans are meant to eat meat, and they stopped putting hormones in the farm animals, and your precious diet is killing off endangered animals

  • @cartoonkingforeever Ha ha ha yeah you just summed up your intelligence perfectly. Town, city, all the same shit..... it aint where inuits live. Dick. If we are meant to eat meat then why is it we have to cook it first? Why is it we have a herbivores intestines? Why is it we have a herbivores teeth? Why is it you can live on fruit and veg alone but cant survive healthily on meat alone? Why is it that all animals in the wild that eat meat never get clogged arteries from the cholestorol but we do?

  • @pennthebaker well we are different because we live buildings now we have changed over the many years but we have been eating meat since the beginning of our evolution, you vegans try to use health problems to promote your ideas and bash others, dude anyone who eats the same thing all the time is going to have health problems, and it appears that you like many vegans do not know what meatatarians are, meatatarians do not eat vegetables but we can eat other foods,

  • @pennthebaker and your diet still kills endangered animals

  • @cartoonkingforeever Yeah i think my point has been proved. Idiot.

  • @pennthebaker what point? that we need to cook dumb ass, well of course we need to cook meat, we do not have the same immune system like wild animals, oh and you do know that there are people who live in this country that eat raw meat right? and guess what they are just fine, no clogged arteries or fat bullshit, vegans are so intolerant even vegetarians don't like you guys and your hypocrites since every thing you own has animal products in them

  • @cartoonkingforeever So that's one of my points you've had a weak go at arguing with and could i ask where you've checked up on the cholestorol levels and blood pressures of these people in order to make your case valid? You haven't have you. Pathetic. If we don't have the same immune system as the animals that eat raw meat then surely that must be ringing some bells in your head that mother nature didn't intend for us to eat it. And i never said i was vegan and you dont know what i own. NEXT!

  • @pennthebaker you can eat french fries and other vegetables fried in oils and still get high blood pressure, you sound very vegan, and like i said before people can eat raw meat, people get sick from meat because it hasn't been processed well and has been infected, and dude they put fertilizer on all types of vegetables to keep them clean and did you know that sometimes spiders and other types of creatures can be found in vegetables, and i eat meat so stop being intolerant

  • @cartoonkingforeever HA SPIDERS?! Well i agree with you about the fertilizer but that's why we should be eating organic. Next point if you fry vegetables in oil then it's still not the vegetables giving you high blood pressure, it's the high heated oils. Vegetables cannot give you high cholesterol, angina or high blood pressure, meat can. Aswell as badly processed meat (unnatural) it's the high levels of saturated fat and cholesterol in it that causes problems which is why we shouldn't eat it.

  • @pennthebaker meat supplies fat and protein, contrary to belief fat can be good because no fat will be very damaging to you body, face the facts eating meat is no more unhealthily than eating vegetables, evidence has shown that meat eaters live longer than vegans and also that breast feeding a baby while on a vegan diet has also led to health problems for the infant, it has been proven that you are not being healthier or living longer, going to the doctor and medical science has done that

  • @cartoonkingforeever BRILLIANT! Show me the proof?! Meat eaters live shorter lives than those on a prodominently vegetarian diet. Guess what fruit provides fat and protein too, only difference is that it doesn't contain bad cholesterol which is what clogs your arteries....... meat does! How many times have i got to say it thicko! I would be impressed if you can find me some evidence that shows meat is more healthy than eating vegetables! Are you seriously that warped that you believe that?!!!!!

  • @pennthebaker where's your PROOF?

  • @cartoonkingforeever Well a lot of it is in this video. Just go on line for two minutes and you'll soon see the proven stats about how those with high meat and dairy intakes live shorter lives than those who don't. Not to mention the longest living people on earth are the japanese and guess what..... no dairy and very very little meat. Weird. I mean honestly mate this is getting boring use your head, clearly fruit and veg have near enough no unhealthy qualities yet meat and dairy have plenty.

  • @pennthebaker ah dude fish is a type of meat and you see tons of it in japanese restaurants, and have you seen japan? the place has incredible medical science that's the reason why they live so long, and if eating vegetables makes you live longer then why is it that people in India who are vegetarian have a much lower lifespan than America?, dude the japanese eat tons of meat so your lifespan crap is pathetic bullshit, I'm eating tons of meat and i fill just fine

  • @cartoonkingforeever Let's not beat around the bush with this fish thing, i can guarantee that compared to your land animal intake you probably eat fuck all fish so lets not get confused that we have been talking about farm bred meat eating not fish. Besides they eat like 20 plus portions of fruit and veg every day you gotta be thick not to see the correlation between longevity and that diet. Oh and indians have very low environmental quality factors you haven't factored in like poor water e.t.c

  • @pennthebaker yeah but still you said that vegetarians and vegans live longer than meat eaters and i say that's bullshit, i have a grandad who in his 80's and he's still eats meat and he's just fine, he's eaten it all his life, and if you think that because SOME people get sick from eating meat that we are not meant to eat meat then you sir are an idiot, that's like if i went around and said that because some people are deathly allergic to peanuts we are not meant to eat peanuts,

  • @cartoonkingforeever Oh my days i've just seen your home page...... you're a little 18 year old faggot who loves cartoons. I knew there was something immature about your arguments. Yeah this conversation has been great but you can continue on your own now. Go enjoy some cartoon network that should tax you sufficiently i think. Bye now.

  • @pennthebaker says the dumb ass who is stupid enough to think that humans are not meant to eat just because a few people get sick from eating it and JUNK FOOD. nice talking with ya, retard

  • @cartoonkingforeever Yawn...... boring. Go watch your cartoons geek.

  • @pennthebaker go back to murdering innocent vegetables, good bye I'm going to eat a chicken sandwich

  • @cartoonkingforeever Ha ha yep just as i thought...... little cartoon watching kid.

  • @pennthebaker last time i checked there are millions of adults who watch cartoons so i don't what's your problem but it's totally pathetic, seriously your insults are terrible goodbye

  • @cartoonkingforeever What you checked with millions of adults? Wow that's impressive. Not sure how. Besides you aint an adult, you're 18 kid you should be checkin women out not watching cartoons. Isn't it weird that you think me saying you watch cartoons is an insult. Obviously deep down you agree.

  • @cartoonkingforeever What do you think junk food is? Animal products and processed foods.

And who cares about your grandpa? When I'm talking about nutrition and health, I refer to scientific studies, statistics, not just one grandpa who is 80 years old. Some people smoke, and are 80 years old. But everybody knows it causes lung and mouth cancer, just like meat and other animal products cause many diseases, including many types of cancer, heart diseases and diabetes.

  • @Relapsu your going by guesswork and we don't need to eat vegetables because liver has the same nutritional value as vegetables and for the last time meat is an important part of our diet and dude vegetables are processed to

  • @cartoonkingforeever No. I just said I rely on scientific studies and statistics. I can provide some if you're interested.

If you say we don't need to eat plant foods, you clearly don't know what your talking about. Nobody claims humans are Carnivores, except you.

Meat is not an important part of our diet. Just ask me about any nutritional component in meat that you are worried about.

  • @cartoonkingforeever A vegetable is not Processed. After you cook it, it is. Still, a cooked vegetable is much healthier than REALLY processed foods, and of course, healthier than animal products, which are also processed.

  • @Relapsu on what proof are vegetables healthier? meat i say is healthier, i am a meatatarian like the Inuits and i am starting to eat liver so i don't have to eat vegetables which was proven by a guy who actually lived with the Inuits for research on their lifestyle

  • @cartoonkingforeever Kid, stick to cartoons, you are way over your head here.

  • @truth2748 why should i? if you look at my channel you will see that i am very anti fascist so this propaganda is near fascist level

  • so we should just kill all the animals and eat beanz ??

  • @MrAidan2304 No stop breeding them.

Then eat anything non animal related.

We we could just kill the people that eat meat and let the animals keep the land.

  • That's why I hunt naturally. I go out at 5 in the morning and shoot a deer right through the heart, killing it instantly. Then I use every part, even mounting the deer if it is good enough. Anything that I don't use is ground and spread in the fields as natural fertilizer. I shot one deer and it filled my entire deep freeze. If everyone ate and killed like I did, this wouldn't happen.

  • @sarge958 Right on, man.

  • This study is heavily flawed, not totally accurate

  • Good thing im hunting my meat :P a poor hunter among hunters are called a vegan, just sayin'

  • unfortunately no one can stop this, because so much people eat meat its a highly profitable business, money is the foundation.

  • it doesn't matter if we were "built for eating veggies." I eat vegetables too, but I also eath meat. If we weren't meant to eat meat, then almost no one would ever eat meat. fucking hunter and gatherers. again, if we were not meant to eat meat, we would have just been gatherers. dumb ass.

  • @LongShotNews Why do you think god made these nutritious plants, then? It's clear that eating meat is totally unnecessary and unfair for the animals. We have everything we need from plants, why eat meat? Meat only causes global problems.

  • If you know these facts, and still eat meat... you must have no conscience at all.

  • @HopeVJustice Well I can't just let that juicy tenderloin go bad in the store can I? Thats wasting that poor animals life.

EATING MEAT AVENGES THE ANIMALS LOL

  • @HopeVJustice 1. humans are animals

    2. animals eat other animals to survive

conclusion: veganism is hypocritical and unnatural

  • @ftwatheist Conclusion: WATCH. THE. VIDEO.

Humans were built for eating veggies, that's a fact. Small flat jaw, no impulse or urge to take a bite of other animals, long ass intestines, weaker stomach acid... we can't digest meat properly. It rots in our intestines.

Also, we aren't wild animals. We can think, we can stop.

  • @ElectroSapper Well the reason that humans became the smartest animal on this planet is because of meat consumption sure we make be more biologically more efficient for eating plants but you know the appendix it's worthless to us now which shows that we might be evolving to be a true omnivore

  • @saltboy1212 Uhh, what? Appendix makes the whole difference? Nope. We're still the same. We're still like our great ancestors.

Cool, humans ate meat for survival. Look at us back then: primitive, hairy, barely standing on their feet.

We're not the same. We can think now, we can change.

  • @ElectroSapper I was meaning to say that the appendix was used in our ancestors to process and help digest plant life so what i'm saying is that we have evolved to eat meat

I will respect your opinion but you did forget that humans need protein for brain growth sure there are many non meat products that have protein in them

And I don't think well thinking what we want to eat will do anything in natural selection for the future

And also don't say we are not wild animals we are just differently

  • " Happy Vegan "

  • If we stop eating meat what do we do with the animals meaning populations control and by the way these statistic are such bullshit...

  • @199589 of course it would not happen quickly... and its been projected that if left to their own devices the cow would become extinct or nearly so around america... the bison would better take over, especially if we let our tall grasses grow again on the plains... what better stats do you have? the 16 lbs of grain for one pounds of meat is an old stat that veggie folk used for too long, the evil meat industry has become less evil and more efficient, but sadly that just means they can survive

  • @Usaf317 you can't live a cruelty free life and still eat meat. Bottom line. Don't care what you say.

  • @forvrfierce21 what if you find a perfectly instant means of killing animals? isn't that cruelty free? isn't cruelty more a matter of sadism and causing more pain than is needed? is the farming industry really doing this consciously? i'm sure they can make it better, but free range animals are too expensive... profit insists on "cruelty"... so maybe vegans can promote fully auto hunting... to continue shooting quickly until they KNOW its dead? or maybe just hunt with .50 barretts?

  • When the world outbreaks in gross deadly diseases and there is no clean water available and everyones starving and can't even shower cause the waters filled with shit, I hope the damn meat eaters know it's all there fault.

  • @GoVegNoww they will never get the big picture enough to realign their palettes and plates with a food of greater visionary cooperation with the biosphere as long as their lust for flesh continues to be their goal and self sacrifice is commidified out of the thinking... because, we are americans and we deserve $1 hamburgers, right? i mean, come on, ITS FUN, EASY and conveniently placed under the golden arches everywhere - you really can't beat that... still haven't gotten my McVEGAN shirt...

  • The way those wild animals get tricked into torturous traps makes me wanna puke on the fat selfish scum who have to have their damn artery clogging, shit filled, cancer causing, disease spreading, earth destroying hamburger!!

  • 3000 gallons of water for one burger?! Disgusting... Stop eating meat !

  • @GoVegNoww if only we could harvest hamburgers at sea and leave all that extra fresh water to we land lovers... just imagine taking a CARNIVAL cruise and hearing long winded chorus of MOOOOOS at sea while you try to have a nice quiet moon light outdoor look at the sea of cows? yep, salt water cows, thats the solution... it'll keep us out of the amazon as well...

  • @FerretTheFuzzles Your post wasn't that good that it required it displaying 3 times!

  • @CompassionateChap

When youtube went down for maintenance it reposted my message multiple times.

They should be removed by now.

  • >98% of all animals abused and killed are those we eat

I'm not pulling numbers out of my ass guys! Honest!

  • @FerretTheFuzzles You doubt that that number is correct?

  • @MrEllisRedding

Yes,mainly because that statement is extremely general.

  • @FerretTheFuzzles Maybe you just don't realize the magnitude of the meat industry.

  • @MrEllisRedding

    Again,the statement is extremely general.

In the video poster's context "of all animals abused and killed " means animals eaten by other animals, animals run over by cars, animals killed in plant production, etc also count in this "98%" statistic.

If this is true, then no way in hell do we eat "98%" of that.

  • @FerretTheFuzzles You're trying to be a clever little bitch picking at the way things are phrased but guess what animals killed other animals in nature and animals killed by cars weren't abused first.

  • @MrEllisRedding

If I told you 98% of all the unicorns on earth turned invisble would you believe me?

How do you expect people to come to your cause if you cannot phrase things correctly? Putting a high percentage on a claim doesn't make it correct.

Is a lion eating a zebra alive not abuse to you? What about ants that will literally poison maggots before consuming them alive? Why can't animals be kinder to their prey and respect their "rights"?

  • @FerretTheFuzzles His phrasing is just fine & even if it isn't you should have the common sense & sympathy to see animals are seriously unjustifiably mistreated & meat production is ridiculous. Zebras aren't really eaten alive. Their choked to death & sometimes other lions start to eat at them before they're dead. That isn't abuse, it's not a reoccuring thing for that prey & it's necessary for certain animals to live & to keep the environment balanced.

  • @MrEllisRedding

Putting the word "all" means this applies to every single animal on the planet. If the uploader wanted this to apply only to animals in slaughter houses then they should have made it more specific.

    watch?v=QLKo_FpHU10

"The zebra took about 15mins to die"

Choking to death for 15mins sounds pretty cruel to me.

BTW: There are "vegan" animals that will eat meat when it's available (a certain breed of deer comes to mind) So even animals indulge when it isn't "necessary".

  • @FerretTheFuzzles All animals Abused & killed, not just the ones killed. Besides it clearly means animals harmed by humans, if that's not obvious to you then you're just retarded. Wtf are you even bitching about such a small fucking thing anyways, you're being a ridiculous. Why don't you go right on ahead & stop coming up with little things to change the subject & flat out say you think it's absolutely ok to treat animals completely like shit, murder them, & eat them when we 100% Don't Need to.

  • @MrEllisRedding

"Besides it clearly means animals harmed by humans"

Do you not understand what the word ALL means? Or what the word ALL applies to? Or why ALL and "98%" makes your claim ambiguous and therefore not valid?

"treat animals completely like shit, murder them, & eat them when we 100% Don't Need to."

NEWS FLASH: Millions of animals are killed in farming processes too.

And where's the magic farm that would be able to sustain millions of people without ecological backlash?

  • Comment removed

  • @MrEllisRedding we need to eat animals.

  • @usaf317 Oh really? Now please do go on ahead and explain to me how that is

  • @MrEllisRedding lol...you cant live on carrots! idiot.

  • @usaf317 I'm the idiot? xD You are a fucking retard if you think people can't be veg. I've been "living on carrots" for the past 5 years and guess what I'm alive and healthy, living a pretty cruelty free life.

  • @MrEllisRedding well good for you. i on the other hand eat more than carrots and i am very healthy also. i also live a cruelty free life. i cant wait to go hunting for wild boar this year!

  • @usaf317 You are such a fucking tard, seriously. You eat meat, that supports the meat industries which are very fucking cruel. You hunt, that's murdering an innocent animal. You are a cruel piece of shit and I hope you get your eye blow out like this stupid fuck I know of who went boar hunting.

  • @MrEllisRedding you are funny. well if i lose and eye i still have one left. i will still hunt.

  • @MrEllisRedding its a good thing to have a gun in the woods for boar in florida, they are a bigger risk than panthers and black bears, but i'd worry about rattlesnakes even more... those big pigs will charge you and gore you with their cruel human murdering tusks as you are just an innocent human animal walking through the woods... gators have actually killed more in recent years... so for them as well... i give human life more credit in these cases... i'm glad hunters THIN the herd...

  • @glorp896 That's true, not all animals are entirely innocent but you gotta remember they're doing what comes natural to them & what humans do is way way Way more fucked up. It's pretty egotistical though to think humans should never ever be seen as a food source by an alligator. It's not gonna disciminate really, it sees an animal it can eat so it naturally goes after it. People get butt hurt when they find out we're not at the top of the food chain without weapons few of us know how to make.

  • @MrEllis why isn't the NATURAL argument extended to humans? what really isn't natural? just man intervention? if true then at what point of mindful thinking, morality and IQ did we leap into this artificial world of responsibility? right after cro mags? the industrial revolution? Bronze age?... Ego is healthy, not a bad thing... read THE SATANIC BIBLE - just as Gordon Gekko's speech on GREED gives it a good spin so can the same be said of EGO... ego is life incarnate, full rich and alive

  • @glorp896 The natural arguement can't be used on your side cause, first off killing is wrong & should be avoided when possible, & cause we Have Deviated from what Was natural. Do you really think going to a drive up window & getting a greasy double bacon cheeseburger is natural, how bout when they force impregnate livestock & shit, do just a million other things I could list off, are you really that stupid you don't see how it's not natural? Do you seriously think that just cause you have--

  • @MrEllis there is a death free diet, no living organisms dies... killing is wrong? well of course thats simplistic - its all context and i wouldn't bemoan the INUIT their virtually all meat diet - how else would you expect an eskimo to live? no, its not natural, but going into the woods with your bow and arrow like ted nugent is FAR MORE natural - you get exercise and you eat meat that is far more healthy (less worse?)... my point is that we are still a part of nature, even if self-destructive

  • @MrEllisRedding a spear is very basic and can handle virtually ALL our predators - thats really why we are alive... if all you get is a sharp point to run into everytime you attack, you will start to leave humans alone - IT WORKED... i imagine we had spears millions of years ago, long before our hominid ancestors were anything like human... anybody can make a spear and it requires minimal strength to keep planted in AT LEAST a defensive posture...

  • @glorp896 (continued) a higher IQ it justifies doing whatever you want without any consideration for others? Cause that is so fucking egotistical it's ridiculous, you didn't even do anything to have that intelligence. You were born a human; that doesn't make you better than the cow that was born a cow who had no control over what species he was. Don't bother replying, my questions are rhetorical ones, I'm not gonna waste time arguing with a someone who actually thinks ego & greed are good.

  • @MrEllis dumb question, strawman... but IQ is the single best correlate for determining the value of man - it gauges morality, health, crime rates, etc... but typically vegan hippie nature lovers are backward in this regard and prefer people live the stunted shorter lives of greater suffering as long as they are in touch with nature, while the modern more resource using folks that live FAR longer with higher IQs are worth less to the naturalist. i choose greater freedom (nature exploiter

  • @MrEllis i did do something to improve on my IQ... of course i'm better than a cow (retarded animal rights idea at work here for me to even have to say this)... even dogs have virtually no rights and are property under law... ego is good, we need them, people have perverted freud and his use of ego... ego is good, but like anything its a matter of balance, and unless we can quantify these things back and forth we are both saying little, like you say rhetorical - greed is good up to a point...

  • Once you went along with this though the land would be used for the animals and not for people. There would be animals everywhere and animal poop everywhere.

  • @TheChineseEmpire Wtfudge are you saying exactly?

  • * EATS HIS CHIPS AND PORK CHOPS " MMMMM

  • @beaelliott "Veggies don't have cholesterol"

So they don't have brains, or any nerves at all, and all of their cells leak? Really?

  • @hitssquad Huh? Your response is incoherent. I have absolutely no idea what you mean... But guessing: Are you saying plants are sentient? Or just "living"?

  • @beaelliott "plants are sentient?"

No. I thought you meant vegetarians don't have cholesterol. If you instead meant vegetables, lacking cholesterol is not a valuable characteristic, since dietary cholesterol not only doesn't cause heart disease, but also has no effect on cholesterol levels in people who consume it: google. com/search?q=good+calories+taubes

  • @hitssquad - Oh... so do you mean this to support your view that animal killing (for food) is a non-issue?

  • @beaelliott "you mean this to support your view that animal killing (for food) is a non-issue?"

I don't think the latter is my view, and I don't think the former supports that view. It's true, however, that some people eat meat - and fatty meat in particular - because it prevents heart-disease as well as most other western degenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's, cancer, varicose veins, hemorrhoids, appendicitis, peritonitis, gastric and duodenal ulcer, liver disease, asthenic dyspepsia, etc.

  • @hitssquad It is the cause of a lot of ailments and disease too... I'm figuring that Mr. Clinton has some of the best health care in the world. His doctors fully support his plant based diet. And actually he looks great and says he feels wonderful. I'm going by research in The China Study,The American Dietetics Association, countless other nutrition specialists AND my own physical well being...I feel terrific on a plant based diet.Just wish I would have opted this for this choice decades ago!

  • @beaelliott "I'm going by research in The China Study"

What are its weaknesses?: beyondveg. com/billings-t/comp-anat/comp-anat-8e. shtml

    .

"I feel terrific on a plant based diet."

How are your insulin levels? How are your apo B levels?

  • @hitssquad I suppose everything is fine - So my doctor tells me. Also, my counterparts, friends, neighbors and family, all in their mid fifties as well, are nearly ALL on some kind of prescription drug to control some sort of imbalance or counter "too much" of something. I'm on not a single one. My weight is also ideal for my height, my body mass is also well in range... I cannot say that about them either.

  • @hitssquad Finally, as a group we all came down with "a bug" several years ago. I was over it within a few days - On the other hand, doctors had a difficult time finding an antibiotic that would work on my friends... No, sorry - I don't believe you will be able to convince me that I'm not better for my choice to live on a plant based diet. Not for personal health or the other issues at hand.

  • @beaelliott "as a group we all came down with "a bug" several years ago."

    Flu?

    .

"doctors had a difficult time finding an antibiotic that would work on my friends."

How do you suppose your friends might have become exposed to antibiotics?

  • @hitssquad I'm sorry, aren't you aware that 70% (or more) of the pharmaceuticals made in the U.S. are fed to farmed animals? There's a large controversy in the medical community (and consumers) about drugs in livestock... Google "antibiotics & meat" - You'll see what I mean.

  • @beaelliott "pharmaceuticals [...] are fed to farmed animals"

Yes. There's a difference between administering antibiotics to farm-animals and those antibiotics showing up in harmful amounts in consumer meat.

    .

If you all contracted the same strain of hidden-identity "bug" (what was it?), and one of you was "over it within a few days", while the others weren't, wouldn't that seem to rule out antibiotic resistance?

  • @hitssquad And the difference in feeding antibiotics to farmed animals and the same antibiotics showing up in meat is what???

No... I - the one on a plant based diet recovered quickest... Obviously the antibiotics worked on me - But failed in the others. If anything, it supports antibiotic resistance on many who consume meat.

Regardless, I really don't know where this conversation is going. Do you think you will convince me to eat flesh after years of thriving on everything else? Not hardly.

  • @beaelliott "the antibiotics worked on me - But failed in the others"

Yes. I said that. The reason that probably rules out antibiotic-resistance is that -- given that you all got it at the same time -- you probably all had the same hidden-identity "bug" (what was it?).

    .

"If anything, it supports antibiotic resistance on many who consume meat."

Maybe you don't know what antibiotic-resistance means. Humans aren't the things that become resistant.

    .

By the way: what precisely was the "bug"? Flu?

  • @hitssquad My understanding is that if humans consume antibiotics (through meat) their own systems will develop an immunity to them. Antibiotics will not be as effective when we need them most. Not saying "humans are resistant" but that the bugs, or viruses we catch do become resistant.

Yes, it was some sort of stomach flu. Others had it advance into their respiratory system. Mine was gone in 2 days. For others it lingered for weeks.

  • @beaelliott "Not saying "humans are resistant""

Actually, you just did, several times.

    .

"but that the bugs [...] we catch do become resistant."

As I pointed out, your entire group apparently had the same strain. Either it was resistant, or it wasn't.

    .

"it was some sort of stomach flu."

Then antibiotics couldn't have had any effect on it, since influenzas are caused by viruses, which, since viruses are not alive, cannot be affected by antibiotics: google. com/search?q=influenza+antibiotics

  • @beaelliot "My understanding is that if humans consume antibiotics (through meat) their own systems will develop an immunity to them."

Your understanding is wrong: en. wikipedia. org/wiki/Antibiotic_resistance

The bacteria in their systems could become immune (via evolution), but not they themselves. If the bacteria indeed became immune, and you were to become infected with that same bacteria, antibiotics shouldn't work any better against that bacterial strain in you than in your friends.

  • @hitssquad I see you are arguing on environmental points as well - Perhaps I should cut to the chase to say that one can find all the justifications in the world to kill innocent animals. But the core issue is that if we do not "need" to kill them there is no sanctioning in doing such. For my life I can say that the "need" does not exist. I'm healthy, happy and manage my plant based diet on a moderate income. I'm no one "special", if I can avoid harming animals - Anyone can. ;)

  • @beaelliott "I'm healthy"

I don't know that. you still haven't posted your insulin and apo B levels.

  • @hitssquad I'm healthy enough to my own satisfaction. And I repeat, one last time - I do not feel the need to end my plant based diet by the consumption of flesh. Nuff said?

  • @hitssquad "Actually, you just did, several times". With less than 500 words my attempt at brevity was inaccurate. Thanx for the correction. Perhaps I had the stomach flu and they had something else (food poisioning, ecoli-strain, etc?) I did eat a different menu than they - Who knows, it was several years ago.

And thousands of people are sickened everyday without conclusive analysis as to why.

Fact remains, drug residue in slaughtered "livestock" should be a concern to all.

  • too many vegans try to spread their bullshit ways in the same way muslim fanatics do trying to convert normal people into their unehalthy ways , a loit of vegans especially on youtube r arrogant cunts that think they r better than omnivores , get off ya high horse and GTFO

  • @girlsdrinkfeck we are better, thats why we do it... just as people work out to be better, plan financially, get educated and all kinds of competitive ways to feel better and be number one or something at least above average... why be a loser? to feel good about being down there with the majority? - hey, at least you will have more friends

  • There is new knowledge coming through on the fact food is not sustaining the physical body - breatharianism is gaining popularity, as fitness PRACTICE daily brings in higher energy into the body, away from anorexia and starvation. This may all sound whacked out and crazy but Im letting all you people transitioning to a vegan lifestyle FITNESS IS LIFE and that is the real way to be healthy dont let the food industry brainwash you with protein, nutrition, etc. YOU ARE GOD. Help awake the others...

  • Americans eat 25 million chickens per week and 45 million cows per year. These animals are saturated with growth hormones and antibiotics, which pass through their horribly mistreated bodies into the consumer. We have become a nation of fat sick people. Veganism is better for your health, better for the environment, and, oh yes, better for the animals. Animals do not exist for humans to eat.

  • bet ill outlive most of these vegans :) and with lesser ilness

  • @girlsdrinkfeck vegans live the longest, thats why i'm vegan - playing the odds... i've seen the data many times over... bet against vegans and you are asking for a loss...

  • @glorp896 bet the stats arent a reilable source

  • @girlsdrinkfeck look it up, its hardly a matter of source, this is just basic observational data, correlation and longevity records... google something like vegans live longer, but you will find more vegetarian data, as vegan stuff is harder to find, for obvious reasons...

its indisputable, vegans live longer... you can start with the Pulitzer prize nominated book written by an author that got a standing ovation at the UN building: DIET FOR A NEW AMERICA, dated, but a great start!

  • @glorp896 omg tell someone who cares ! not me or any other STRONG human , tell it to the other oussy veggies and i odnt give a FUCK about america either

  • @girlsdrinkfeck i hope you grow up and find some universal care and understanding globally as you act locally to promote a vegan utopia of harmony with nature (or as close as we can get!

vegans live longer and therefore are stronger... some vegans have won power lifting competitions and other sport stuff... STRONG = MEAT to you!!!! POWER, MEAT, DOMINANCE, CONTROL...YA!

  • @glorp896 stop talking SHIT , vegans r weak , have to spend more time grazing ( eating ) waste of time , give me a big slab of red meat anyday

STRONG =HYPOCRISY to you!!!! POWER, PLANTS, DOMINANCE, CONTROL...YA!

  • @girlsdrinkfeck oh yeah!? (as i stand with my hands on my waist with a tongue out and my head cocked)

    - i'm not talking poop, but i can (i highly recommend CLEANSE AND PURIFY THYSELF, a book... i did the cleanse, pretty amazing actually...

    - (VEGAN REICH, check 'em out, YA! remember what hitler said about vegetarians inheriting the earth (sorry, couldn't find the quote for you...

  • @glorp896 YAWNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN * noms on his big fat pork sausages*

  • @girlsdrinkfeck falling asleep with a belly full of pig meat? oh golly!... pigs have higher IQs than dogs, we've even considered using their eyes for human eyes and their digestive systems are so close to ours that studying them has helped us understand humans... poor piggies... please eat dogs instead, the ones around here that keep pooping around my property, thank you...

    - i do wear leather and try to trap my neighbors cats, so i hope you don't think i'm TOO VEGAN...

  • @glorp896 i eat meat it tastes nice , i dont give a fuck what animal it is

  • @girlsdrinkfeck well then, maybe you should join THE CHURCH OF EUTHANASIA, one of their four pillars is cannibalism... (which helps save the biosphere mind you

  • @glorp896 idont need a religion , im free and independant :)

  • @girlsdrinkfeck i wouldn't call it a religion, more like a shock value art music environmental group... i call them the MARILYN MANSON OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL MOVEMENT

  • @girlsdrinkfeck Probobly not

  • @girlsdrinkfeck Vegans live 15 years longer than meat-eaters and vegetarians 7 years longer. This information and more like it are found all over the internet. Watch your health! Note that famous vegetarian Jack LaLanne recently died at age 96.

  • @grubelsucht whatever ,sstop spewing bulshit did u know millions of babys die every year due to lack of diary and meat products ? u fail

  • @girlsdrinkfeck Now you're on the defensive! You are making a broad statement without facts, evidence, or reason to support them. Think about your health. Think about the animals. The farmers displayed in the video all know that farm animals have individual personalities, feel joy, sadness
