yeah the game from what ive heard is supposed to follow the first season closely, but it does deviate a little away from the story at times. im guessing this is one of those cases

Is the GN Sword and gun the only moves Exia has, or does it wait until the point in the plot when they add the other two GN blades to let you use them?

You can only use the GN Blade, the little pistol and the GN Daggars in actual combat (I didn't know how to use the GN Daggars yet in this vid lol). The rest of the weapons can only be seen used at the end of combo strings. After a Combo of 40 or more, he uses them all. After 50, its a combo attack with him and whoever you picked as your Kizuna

I use an older model of ADS tech's DVD Xpress and I'm running it off of a direct composite video feed using a splitter that lets me play on my tv and record on m laptop at the same time.

DVD Xpress is most likely available on the net, I never saw one in the stores, but a splitter can be found in almost any electronic or computer store.
