@MedicMind91 answer is not that simple, using traktor without using the sync button is like having a huge bed and sleeping on the couch... there is a lot more that u can do than syncing 2 tracks...

@nickfresh72 nah mate there are two versions of duo.......obviously one is called duo where you just get the software and the other called scratch duo where you get the vinyl and cd's controllers and the sound card......

Hi, I'm new to dj / mixing and I'm slightly confused at what I can do with this software. Can I buy this software for my laptop and then mix and play songs just with that, or do you have to buy external controllers and other stuff to use the software? Also would I be able to make remixes of songs with effects etc and then save them as individual songs, or does it just allow you to play a song and mix it into the next one?? Any help would be appreciated, cheers.

@burn5495 well i dont have traktor but serato, but getting a behringer UCA and plugging it from "record out" of you mixer to your computer with audacity should work

I have already bought a copy of Traktor Pro (v1.2 with all NI Audio drivers) and I am looking to get their DVS system. Will I be able to use their Audio 4 sound card with the Traktor Pro software, or would I have to use the bundled software? (Traktor Scratch Duo) I'll be wanting to get this instead of mp3 compatible cd-js as it would save me a huge wad of cash!

I have a laptop only with two USB ports I use one USB port for interent and the other for my mouse. Will Traktor Duo recognize USB hub ports?

Can you use your own Vinyl decks with it? is it a DVS system or just software, for instance i have Technics 1210s and i wanna hook em up so its like a DVS and i dont know if you can do it with this

its the novation nocturn for $99, Its worth the money if you are looking for a midi controller that is not huge.
