you should defenitly go see for yourself, you will find israel is an open sociaty, struglling in a sea of hostility. also there is no temple but just a wall remain is called western wall, i am a devote christian so to me they are just historical significent. and old city is very interesting since i am of arab origin i enjoy arab part more, israelies have sometimes abbresive personality but arabs are more friendly, watch for moslem arabs despite thier friendliness they can be violent

In fact, some of these militants even had shirts made that portrayed (among other things) a pregnant women in a burqa with crosshairs superimposed over her. In Zeitoun, civilians were herded into a building, which was then shelled. It's very much akin to when the Nazis told prisoners that they were simply going to take a shower. It's revolting.
