ok... experts. think about this. listen to the F1 engine. it's on the rev limiter for the launch [theres a launch mode which manages this - i'd imagine they enable this for demos]. then once mr Sulayem gets away he keeps letting the engine hit the rev limiter substatially before he changes up. in an F1 car this has the effect of unsettling the rears [they're pushing hard under 750bhp - then hit the limiter and get held at the peak revs by the limiter] watch the in car view...

every time he lets it sit on the limter the car wobbles as the rears are slammed by the rev limiter which is like putting on the brakes suddenly - then he changes up - bam hard acceleration!. on a sandy track this lateral wandering with a huge engine on big rubber is very destabilising and invites exactly what happened. any half-knowledgable driver knows to keep things smooth - in this mode, that equals quick upshifts - no rev limiter.. something this numbnuts had no clue about.
