@7Iona7 Maybe you should learn to proof read your comments before you put them on the internet... tough guy. killikng? pepole? dfrones? You have more to be ashamed of than he does.
@Uuuurk Me an arsehole...no i dont think so, actually it is that bad if you read all the other comments you too would realize that, also if you could play bagpipes you would know that as well. I'm also not just saying that because im on the internet if i met the guy i would say it to his face, its called constructive criticism . Plus if knowing about bagpipes is being an arsehole then i guess your right.
@7Iona7 I have play bagpipes for several years, not schottish bagpipe though. We all start somewere, u dun have to be rude because someone isnt as good as others. Most negative critisism comes from ppl whit limited skills who feels proud when they can point out when someone does something wrong.
No it was nothing constructive about ur comment u were only being a rude cunt.
You can get valves to narrow the stock on these mouthblown smallpipes to help with the air pressure, that said the upper notes are out of tune which may have been the reed needing to be adjusted in that environment...
I think it is the inherently difficult job of keeping a steady air pressure on the kitchen pipes that everyone is commenting on. You don't have as much problem with the Great Pipes. Not enough pressure, they don't play, the chanter simply cuts out. I'd like to have heard the lad on the right cut loose on THOSE pipes!
I enjoyed the sound of the bag pipes. When I traveled to Scotland and England, there were guys playing the bagpipe on almost every corner, so fascinating.
The space is great to play the smallpies, I want to play in that space with my smallpipe. Good choice.

The lass in the green sweater looks really fed up.

His blowing is steady because the drones hardly move, unsteady blowing on this instrument and you get them bouncing up and down.
Just need to tune them and he's playing it like a sort of pointy Reel????
