It was the fact that Nasri was unwilling to discuss a new contract (which expires at the end of 2011-12 season) that forced Arsenal to sell him cheaply. However, with Cesc, even though he already wanted to join Barca at the time, he still signed an extension (mind you, he had four more years left on his Arsenal when he left), which allows Arsenal to negotiate with Barca to get a better deal. I respect Cesc, but despise Nasri
