I wonder how SD is doing? I subst teach and have moved around a lot...so I know lots of even the smaller towns have computers for every student...We have to try to keep up with the times...why waste time teaching facts they can instantly find...we need to teach problem solving, cooperation and critical thinking...also more foreign language would be good.
It says Iowa, and there is a slight focus toward Iowa, but this is applicable to the entire country that has any interest in our education 'system'. I recommend rewatching these every 6 months.
The Bill of Rights is not a list of rights given to Americans by government. Rather, the Bill of Rights provides a list of rights that are inherently ours, so they can’t be removed by the government. It is your duty as a voting member of society to understand this and NEVER vote for anyone who would breach the law. There are only 7 Senators who voted against NDAA. The rest must be replaced. nearly 2/3 of the House members also need to be replaced. Vote carefully RON PAUL 2012
I know in Cedar Rapids, those who can afford to be single income families are home schooling their kids at an alarming rate....
The problem is they are trying to run education like a business, except they fail to measure the output product correctly. The correct product? It differs by individual for one, but ultimately teaching our students real skills instead of a stupid test written by people who failed out of everywhere else in life so instead found a government job!

**Standing Ovation** That....was...frigging...awesome!
A.) The After Effects and typography was stellar.
B.) The Content could not have been more timely and relevant.
C.) It is comforting to know that this dialogue exists.
But..... What do we do now? How do we effect change?
