  • It's great acting when you can't see the actor at all. Heath Ledger is invisible in this role. He became the joker.

  • who else hates the hipsters who claim that heath ledger 'wasn't the real joker'? jack nicholson was nothing compared to heath...

  • @daniel171095 And neither of them are compared to Mark Hamill. What's your point retard?

  • @daniel171095 to say nicholson is

'nothing" is really pretty absurd. he played joker as directed by tim burton and Jack Nicholson knocked it outta the park as he always does! it was two different takes on the joker character. I still love to watch nchlsn in that one HOWEVER!! lol ...Heath Ledger's Joker...is stunning, brilliant, insane and phenomenal...infinity. and sorry, folks, daniel's rite...it IS better!!.....

  • @spindlecrackey yeah 'nothing' was a bit of an exaggeration. i was just frustrated about those who deemed the critics as just being sympathetic about heath. nothing against old jack, but heath was directed to perfection by nolan to give a legendary performance.

  • @daniel171095 you bet...i couldn agree more. and its not sympathetic whatsoever, ya gotta give credit where credit's due, and if he were still alive it would be even MORE huge! they'd be talking sequel, or prequel actually, i guarantee it!

  • @spindlecrackey the point where he said 'we're destined to do this forever' made it seem like they were thinking of tying in the joker to the next batman films as his sort of ongoing nemesis, not necessarily as the main antagonist. oh well, it was brilliant for our kid to end his career on such a high note (including dr parnassus). he made us at perth proud.

  • I Think the best scene was when the movie begins untill the movie ends The Dark Knight is just fucking epic.

  • what else could you call scene 8 other than 'hit me' ?

  • i still cringe at the joker's lil magic trick.

and Alfred's story about the bandit is one of my favorite parts if not my favorite part.

and scene 12 absolutely amazing <3 my favorite speech of the joker

  • R.I.P. Heath Ledger

  • cool

  • Brilliant film.

  • 8 out of 12 was the joker. awome

  • @goodinfotoknow I hate it when people stain my faith just to spite others. Go troll somewhere else, please.

  • Scene 11.. 7:31 IS THE BEST SCENE EVVVEEERRR <3

  • @breakyourheart500

That monologue kind of parallels some aspects of modern society.

Everyone freaks out about the little things.

  • @baron8107 50 thumbs up for anyone who knows what breakyourhearts500s comment is 100 if you can find it exactly

  • i like when the joker compared him and batman to when an unstopable force meets an immovable object

  • HIT ME ! what is that :o who can tell ? have the Joker shield ?=D

  • @Taikina13 it was only put in as a tribute to the tim burton one and to show how batman wont kill

  • Comment removed

  • heath ledger was a mad joker but i wish he had a better joker laugh!!

  • HIT ME !!! Best scene ever !

  • Damnit just upload the whole thing! :(

  • you shouldve put the whole movie up

  • its impossible to out all the best scenes in one video, youll have to put the whole movie.

  • 2:48 *why so serious* I always get the chills of it when he say that xD

  • Every time he says that "Stranger" I get shivers down my back

  • for every scene i try to impersonate the them, and the only one i cant seem to do well is da joker... that sucks right coz hes my fav character and i practiced specially hard. OH WELL, GOOD JOB HEATH LEDGER RIP

  • umm the man's hand's were not cuffed he could have took it out.

  • wait in the beginning, is the "joker" voice just voice acting or is that how he really sounds like?

  • @ramprire i mean its still his voice

  • What I don't get is The Joker tells 2 differnt storys about how he got his scars!! which one is true???

  • @handsomedevil98 We don't know if one of them is even true, that's what's interesting.

  • @handsomedevil98 in the comic he always told a different story. Its just part of the joker. From what I understand, he doesnt truly remember why he is the way he is. But its supposed to be from the vat that he got knocked into. The scars is a new thing...Do some research and see what you think :)

  • @Pandafye The stories he tells about the scars may all be in someway true but he changed the story differently like with gamble he said his father did it or with Rachael he did it to himself because his wife gambled and owed money but couldn't pay the mob dealers back so they carved her face. But what I think is his father was very abusive like he said and that he was a gambler and owed mob bosses money so he got his own face carved up not his wife and because of his scars his wife left him.

  • Anybody have the scene where two-face hits ramierez in the head with a gun?

  • @appoXoppa you took that from Dead Space 2. Stick a NEEDLE in your eye.

  • harvey uses romans 13... hitler used romans 13 as well... so did obama... render unto caesar

  • LOL WHEN HE ROBBED THAT BANK AND BLENDED IN WITH THE OTHER BUSES MADE THAT A SWEET ASS LICK

  • @xbutterbiscutx:

    That's what she said

  • @bushater2000 try opening your mouth as wide as it can and stick something in it that's just large enough to fit all the way in you can't open your mouth more to take it out without breaking your jaw

  • @xbutterbiscutx oww, your comment made my jaw hurt lol

  • Seems like a dumb question- but why didn't the guy at the beginning simply use his hands to remove the grenade from his mouth? I don't see restraints...

  • the best escenes of the dark knight in one word JOKER.....

  • 3:28 is where i was like : holy fuck this movie is sick !

  • burma is a very good scene

  • Does anybody agree that the commisioner looks alot like gordan freeman from half life?

  • i think u missed the best scene , the prisoner on the ship who trrowed away the detonator that was the best scene for me.

  • @Kumashin100 I was going to put that on in there. That was a very deep scene for me too. It's just at the time youtube only allowed only 10 mins :(.

  • @Kumashin100 YEAH except the prisoner was Debow from Friday

  • @Kumashin100 not really

  • @Kumashin100 trrowed? Thats not an actual word.

  • eckhart as harvey dent is in my opinion a very underated peformance. he did a fantastic job going from a noble incorruptable hero to two face.

  • scene 4 is the best 'LETS PUT A SMILE ON THAT FACE' :)

  • the only thing missing in this movie on my opinion is the reason for joker to have such a...smile ^^ the tim burton one explained it...

  • awww you should have left the laf after joker's speech about the true face of harvey dent. That laugh give me goose bump.

  • 3:25 is a joke I caught but many others didnt. The guys that hand the lady the letter tell her "Mam, we dont even know what's in there. just open it and itll tell you where youre going."

And she opens it, and it says "up". Lol, bascially meaning she's dying and ascending upwards from Earth. I couldn't believe how the Joker would know the men's wording (or if the men were working for the Joker)

  • maybe u should have put when joker blows up the hospital

  • the night is darkest just b4 dawn... AND i have a huge butt chin

  • thanks a lot

  • heath ledger should have won a oscar....

  • @Deerockz007 he did..

  • @shockZzzzzz n wat about harvy dent????

  • 3:26 lol its funny cause teh noet sad up and she exploded up :)

  • i know this has nothing to do with the film but. that banker had a point. crimanls real crimanals back in the 70's 80's had a sort of code of conduct. they wouldnt go stabbing each other in the back just 4 money. crimanals were like family then but now now its like cats working with mice. as soon as one person turns there back they're dead. no honour at all

  • I was too young to see this film when it came out but after seeing it i can see that Ledger's acting is phenomenal, such a talent. he is greatly missed R.I.P

  • how did he die? i just saw this movie and i heard he was dead

  • @cmc47834 Ledger accidentally overdosed on sleeping pills.

  • R.I.P

  • ah wheres the courtrooom scene?

  • You should have put the ship scene

  • "i want my phone call" scene was my favourite, where he explains why he prefers to kill with a knife.

His maneurisms and cruelty when he says to the other guy he killed 6 cops is just awesome.

Heath´s death was huge loss, but still this performance will live on forever.

  • God, we will give you Justin Beiber, and we'll even throw in Lady Gaga, just give us Heath Ledger back. =*(

  • @Gulliman01 These two clowns aren't even close to being worth Heath.

  • OUT OF THE NIGHT, COMES THE DARKNESS.

Best quote of the movie PERIOD.

  • 3:48 i thought alfred was gonna die

  • nice :)

  • love the michael cain clip.

  • Great Compilation

  • The joker has a great jacket and GREAT shirt im thinking of getting his utfit not to look like it but because its good clothing

  • i dont really like how they depicted bruce in this movie. in the movie, he seems like he just wants to stop being batman after only one year and is ready to just end it - but in the comics, bruce would never ever be finished with being batman, even if it killed him in the process.

  • THIS IS MADNESS!

  • awwww you forgot the interrogation scence when joker says "good evening commissioner"

  • someone please help! explain to me how joker kills dude with the blade inside his cheak?????

  • taa dah it's gone haha best line

  • Goddamn it, I miss you Heath Ledger. Knights Tale, the Patriot, the dark knight. Such good movies.

  • TADAAH!

  • scene 8 my favorite

  • It's the little things the Joker does that I admire. Like when he was at Wayne's Fund Raising Party and took the drink with Champagne, threw the Champagne out of the glass, then took a sip. Classic insane comedy.

  • where is the scene with interogation!!?...

  • I can't believe that Heath Ledger died! 'The Joker' (character) REALLY messed him up.

  • 1:00

nobody sees that bus come out of the bank, or reacts to it

  • The Dark Knight is much better than Batman Begins is

  • @92af i agree but rachel sucks in the dark knight

she was good in batman begins

  • I agree

  • so fuckin goog Ledger¡¡¡¡¡

  • Ledger's performance was AWESOME

  • Anyone else notice how the big scary mobster dude just sits there and takes the Joker putting a knife INSIDE of his mouth, while the little pretty lady punches him in the... was that the gut or the groin?

  • Am I the only one who only sees the Joker/Heath scenes when I randomly want to rewatch this movie? Really,I find all the other scenes sooooo boring in comparison

  • He is so amazing. I love him. Something about him that draws you in. RIP Heath. Dude why'd he gotta die?

  • @RawrRobotLuv i think it was a curse cuz of the black makeup

  • @RawrRobotLuv the movie role...he couldnt sleep

  • @RawrRobotLuv He Over Dosed on COKE or sumthin like that..

  • @gambit2479 No, heath ledger didnt die on a coke overdose, he overdosed on sleeping pills, search Heath ledges last interview, you'll see him struggling abit, he didnt sleep for weeks, and took to many sleeping pills and died.

  • you did all the sensitive scenes in here, the scenes with great speeches and truth - i like that that are the best scenes!

  • 1:25 - democracy is dead. in democracy the government and police unite to exploit the normal people

  • 2:07 always made me laugh just because of the way he makes the pencil "disappear".

  • Comment removed

  • some good one but other scenes you put had no reason to be there

  • i no like the tonights entertainment... no meaning

  • i disagree with you i think (tonight entertainment) has a funny meaning !!!

  • Yeah it is a deeper meaning to the Joker's humor. He is about to terrorize people which is entertainment to him.

  • you missed all the good fighting scenes and explosions

  • is everything upside down on purpose or is that just me

  • yeah youtubes joke on april fools

  • oh and how did he get the scars. he tells two different stories

  • The Joker's past, according to himself, is multiple choice. He remembers it differently every time. Part of his anguish stems from not knowing for sure what really happened to his face.

  • interesting

  • Check out: Batman: The Killing Joke. It's a great origin story of the joker and is what the multiple tales of his origin is based on in this movie. The movies did a great job drawing from what are considered some of the best of the comics. Year One, Dark Knight etc. very fun stuff.

  • his dad cut his mouth while the dad was drunk

  • Ledger did an amazing job as the joker

  • Classic

  • do not delete this video, please. you have the best scenes here

  • It will be up as long as they don't delete it. Thanks for the subscription

  • can you upload the one with him threatening batman in the freezer

  • Freezer? What scene is that?

  • i mean when he threatens the fake batman with a camcorder and shows it in the news and bruce wayne and alfred watching it

  • y is that important

  • Because I want to satisfy people's needs and make Youtube a better place to watch MORE videos instead of missing em.

  • @ArtisticWingsDotCom the fake batman in the meat locker

  • @ArtisticWingsDotCom its another movie xD ( think )

  • @ArtisticWingsDotCom lol he means the interrogation scene which is the best scene in the movie.

  • @ArtisticWingsDotCom "Are you the real batman?" "No..." "No? THEN WHY DO YOU DRESS LIKE HIM?!?"
