I SO agree with you! Amy Adams is way better than Demi could ever be. Libertypatriots61: She did the most horrible cover anyone could possibly do of the song and in any true Disney fan's mind that IS stealing. She stole a beautiful, gorgeous piece of music (composed by Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz) and just destroyed it. She's not 'amazing' and, after listening to this, I think that she is no real singer. Amy Adams and Julie Andrews are real singers. She is nothing compared to them.

Demi has a more "rock" ish feel, I think they could have given her another song, or made someone else cover this song. But what's done is done, so let's just deal with it and not fight. Amy and Julie are fantastic, and classic, but Demi is pretty awesome too. Check out "Don't Forget" by her. I think she has a fantastic songwriting ability.
