haven't seen the U.S. remake Release of ( let the right one in ) , But On the 1st U.S. Release issue of the Original Dutch Version they Butcher the Sub's: So Bad in translation that they had to Re-release it because of the bad press it was getting , on the 2nd release they used the original theatrical release Subs that they should have used the 1st time,

I had a hard on EVERY time I walked by this box set in stores. Given your review, I am so pleased that I did not invest in this. I have several editions of Friday The 13th films. Still waiting for IV to VIII on bluray.

I picked up that F13th box set as well because I've never owned any of those movies. I was disappointed at the lack of quality, too. Hopefully, they will put out a proper Blu-ray set at some point.

@TheLonesomeFoghorn No, but it is a bit lopsided on my shelf. They have these things over here called disc skins that you can put on your DVD's to prevent scratching. Not sure if they have them in Sweden, but they'd probably help.

Also I purposely avoided that Friday the 13th set. So many sets are such terrible quality lately, the cars set, the toy story trilogy, scooby doo, lion king, masters of horror season 2, the list goes on but sets seem to be getting worse lately. :/

Looks like it was a fun time! I love the Last Exorcism, it got terrible reviews but that's mainstream reviewers for ya. It had a nice Rosemary's Baby touch to it at the end.

Hey! Not all Americans are too lazy to read subtitles , I'm pretty vocal about all these unnecessary remakes, including the new Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. The original is a masterpiece , the remake has lots of stars and Fincher directing so it'll be a hit and the original will be not viewed here unfortunately.

I got the Friday box set too and I hate it. My unboxing of it is in one of my Blu-Ray DVD Update videos. Anyway, all the discs were scratched to hell. Parts 4 - 8 did play in my DVD as well as the Special Features to my shock and awe. I did not watch Parts 1 - 3 since I have those on Blu-Ray. These cardboard sleeves keep me from buying a lot of Box Sets, even if they are in Blu-Ray. I hate it when the use the sleeves for music CD's as well.

And about that Friday 13th box set, I couldn't agree more! especially about the outer box, the mask and the dvd packaging is good enough as collectibles..
