using the1st pick up (close to fingerboard) on stratocaster is key to make this sound,

funkyness cant be taught...it isnt in no tabs....you either are...or you isnt. If you are, then you have the right to say "god made me funky". But if you are checking out Nile Rodgers chops, rest assured you probably are funky. But dont let it loose, because if you do, its a mother.

you know it's a normal tremolo unit

and have some tuning problem.

so i fixed the tremolo unit to never move

in temporary.

i think that original chic recorded sound is quite normal.

so only with front side pick up(close to finger board) and little echo,maybe can get similar sound.
