I think the fact JKR gave them a son and then killed them off for literary symmetry for Harry sucked really bad, it's one of the very few things that disappoints me about the books.

They deleted the scene because at 0:09, the green screen was visible above Kingley's head. Yes, I agree. This scene was very important to the movie and explained a lot in the 14 seconds left of their lives. But. unfortunately, the camera men didn't try hard enough to cover it up. 3:

Yeah I agree with you. They were an afterthought... almost like Harry and Ginny xD. Imo, Hermione/Ron was the only relationship that got much development in the books and J.K. shouldn't have gone out of her way to make the series into a romance at the end (the 17 years later bit) when, for most of the series, romance was such a small, peripheral part of the story.

it upset me that they didnt put their story in the movie. tonks was pregnant and in part 1 of the movie, when they come to the durselys house, she was getting ready to tell harry but never did. in the book, harry was made their childs godfather but none of that was in the movie. :(
@xVisceral It was deleted before they started adding in the background to the green screne, not because they forgot to fix the green screen. It was probably for plot and how the movie would flow.
i think it was cut from the film because then they would have to explain who teddy was. they made no referance to "teddy" so the audience would have been confused. The film could only have been so long they couldnt take time to explain teddy without removing other parts.

It pisses me off that that wasn't in the movie! In the books, they mentioned Tonks and Lupin a lot and they became two of my favorites. If you only saw the movies, you wouldn't even know she was pregnant or had a baby. Such crap!!!

@batmanandstarwarsFan They mention it twice. Once each movie. Once in the beginning of the first, and then when Lupin is a ghost Harry's like "and you're son..." Their storyline was butchered. It wouldn't have been hard to throw a few things in. Heck, I was on the edge of my seat waiting for Lupin to rush into Shell Cottage and tell them Teddy was born. Would that have been so hard?!

@Kgirls09 I know, right?! Part one had Tonks say something to the others ("By the way, wait 'till you hear the news. Remus and I--") and then nothing was mentioned again until Harry "died" in part two and told Remus that he was sorry Remus died and would never get to see Teddy again. If someone didn't read the book before seeing the movie, they'd be like "What the fuck?!" Yeah, that also pissed me off, more than anything else.

@Monirelinie No he wasn't!! Which is ridiculous, cos in Pt.1, Tonks was just about to mention she was pregnant when she was interrupted by Mad-Eye. So why bother setting that up only to cut out this scene in Pt.2?? Yates!!! *shakes fist*

What really bugs me is that they cut this scene out and all Teddy related scenes but then continue to mention Teddy in the forrest scene with the resurrection stone, even though people who haven't read the book (silly muggles) have no idea what the fuck they are talking about.

For every fucktard out there who thinks the green screen was the reason it is a deleted scene, they pick which scenes they are going to use first before filling in the green with CGI, to save time obviously.
