@Ruby150 Johnson survived because he was originally going to be a spartan I but the spartan 1 project was cancelled, but johnson still underwent augmentations & so on, amazingly it says on halopedia him and all other Spartan 1s recieved a side effect from the chemicals and were diognosed with Borens syndrome, it allowed them to do nothing apparantly, but something in their blood from the chemicals kept the flood spores from infecting them.

I used to be scared of the Flood, to the point where I wouldn't play any levels with them in it. Then I figured that in order to save humanity, the Flood would have to be stopped. So I sucked it up and played, and I thought" Hey! The Flood aren't much worse than the Covenant. They just look a lot creepier and have more painful ways of killing you" So now I can battle the Flood just fine.

That disc stood on my desk for a few weeks, till I finally decided to try it out. From that moment, I knew I wanted more.

(trivia: because of one song from the soundtrack of the 2nd game (Mjolnir), I am a guitar player, almost worshiping Steve Vai)

I'm a huge Halo fan. I aint gonna lie, I bought the xbox on day one and did't even think about this game. It was till all the reviews and awards that I finally decided to get it months later. I didn't know what I was getting myself into because I had the 5.1 surround sound. After playing the 1st stage I knew this game was truly special. This game became EPIC during this Flood Unleashing Sequence. Till this day, I still get chills during this scene. Great job Bungie!

i prefer covenant, floods are just not as enjoyable to fight. When you fight the covanant you can sit still and shot them,you can just run up to them and hit them or you can run around shooting them. You dont have to worry about ammo because if you run out you can always steal a plasma riffle.You can even sneak up behind and stealth kill them. Allyou can do with flood is run around because if you stand still, they kill you. All the levels with flood are so dark and you must always watch yourammo

There are merciless aliens everywhere that you have no idea who they are or what they want. and to top it all off, a apoptalyptic species of zombies whips out humanity. God what a good story. You will never experience this in any halo game except this one.
