even though very cute and so on, and wishing I had a cute dog, and even cuter baby.. who the hell ENCOURAGE their small child to try to ride a dog? no matter size or temper of the dog.. it's NOT a toy, it CAN turn on you, and that is NOT a thing to teach people they can let their precious children do. After me, witnessing a 7 year old girl, getting bit in the face by her jealous FAMILY-dog, a golden retriever, this is just chocking for me to see.
In the dog's eyes Belle is just like a puppy to them - a puppy from their own pack! Adult dogs usually PROTECT puppys. Not every puppy on the street of course but they do on puppys of their own pack. And that's just what these nice guys are doing.
Of course I'm very upset about the girl getting bitten by her Golden Retriever. But there are many reasons why this happened. Maybe she hurt him accidently - no one will ever know it for sure.
would love to see a video of the dogs with your little girl now...I bet they're the best of friends! My Mastiff, Bella, absolutely loved kids...she would follow my oldest niece whereever she went.
I was told my mastiff was a dangerous dog to have around my kids, especially my 2 yr old. It's funny, yours look to be as aggressive as mine is. Be careful... Lol
@44PIBC i totally agree with you. same thing with pitt bulls. any dog can turn and snap on a human, but the pitt bull breed gets "dogged" for it b/c of those stupid people who decided to breed them for fights.
you can see, that the mother is around them takes care of them. Mastiffs are also known for their quiet temperament.
Dogs of any breed can become dangerous for little kids regardless of their size.
An aquaintance of mine was bit in his bare foot by a yorkshire terrier, when he was a child, the dog happend to bit through the boy's sinews and didn't want to let go. He had problems with moving this foot like the other until today when he's an adult.
