Not anymore. That's not how they are anymore. People just stereotype great historic shows such as these because Popculture wants us to believe that. "Oh my evil hald brother will get a brain operation!!!" ....PALEASE!!!! Soaps are FAR from that, just basic shows with basic people dealing with real life issues. I think we ALL can relate to these.
