I LOVE all the haters commenting on this video. LOL! The only reason Reggie Bush was a big deal is because Hershell Dennis lost his starting spot at USC due to legal issues. Bush took the opportunity, ran with it and made himself a star. Otherwise Bush would have been waiting his turn behind Hershell Dennis and you would be hating on Hershell because he would have been the USC star. Btw Hershell was the TRUE sophomore who ran over and around auburns vaunted defense in the 2003 game.

I love how NOBODY here has any idea what ACTUALLY happened. Reggie enrolled at USC in 2003. His family (according to NCAA investigators) received illegal benefits in December of 2004 from a SPORTS AGENT looking to ensure that Reggie was his client once he turned pro. USC had nothing to do with the benefits he received & were slapped with "Lack of institutional control" for not knowing what happened 230 miles South in San Diego.

He was paid by two outside agents to sign with their marketing company after he declared himself eligible not by USC when he was still in high school.

He took money AFTER he got to USC idiots. You can lie and say USC paid him to come there, but that isn't what the NCAA found in their investigation or why they put USC on probation. USC was accused of having staff that knew Bush was receiving benefits from an OUTSIDE source AFTER he was already enrolled for 2 years, not when he was a recruit. If Bush was being paid to GO TO USC by USC they would vacate every game he played including the '03 season when he was a freshman that didn't happen.

So the meretricious claims that USC the institution manipulated his decision to commit to the program, are completely and utterly groundless and unsubstantiated. The agent in question had no connection to the program whatsoever he was not a booster, coach, scout, athletic director, alumnus, athletic trainer, or in any other position that would somehow link him to the program.

Let's straighten this up it had nothing to do with USC (excluding Reggie Bush) not the program, the coaching staff, nor the administration. The supposed allegations were between the Bush and an INDEPENDENT sports agent that ALLEGEDLY bribed Bush to sign with him only AFTER he declared himself eligible to enter into the NFL, AFTER his tenure at SC. USC the institution and the football program had no connection whatsoever, aside from Bush himself, to the case.
