  • I puted a 9v battery to one of this bug zapper now it doesn't worky anymore :/ Any idea how to fix it ? Maybe resistors fried or something?

Can you give me schematics or something in message how you made this tnx

  • @brotherscro If the transformer is rated for 3V and You gave it 9V, I bet the transformer i fried.

The bugzapper in this video is not using any transformer, only caps and diods. It's a pretty dangerous unit, so I cannot give out schematics.

The Voltage is NOT that scary, but the power could stop Your heart.

  • @brotherscro Okay thanks for the answer ^^

  • Gay!!!!!

  • Kult :D!

  • hmmm im thinkin...make it bigger >:D

  • LOL nice comment, when these bugs sits down on dogshit or food, they don't bother in what order. Search around for similar vids, your about to get busy writing comments all day.

  • That's what I call overkill XD

  • u bet, and what a sound, ACDC in the back WITH wasps jammin with the music, Ohh, that summer was great - LOL

  • Could you give me some instructions/guide how to build this?

  • I don't have a guide, but it's really simple. Using house 240Volt via voltage doubling caps increasing to about 2000 Volt. At the 900Volt stage I used some really large 450Volt caps in series protected by 1000V diods in series. So when the bug shorts the circuit the 2000Volt is coming from the doubler and when voltage level comes under 900V the large caps is discharging through the diods. The wasps explodes in contact. The movie shows a small house fly, lured in by the shrimps below :-DD
