As it stands, America could stand alone, take on the world, and win. Yeah we've made mistakes (Obama was a big one) along the way trying to keep the peace (someone has to) through questionable means. We don't like war, but when you're at the top there's always some shmo wanting to take a sucker punch (ie. iraq, taliban, etc.).
