KBH voted for the bailouts in Washington that everyone didn't want. Rick Perry at least has the small government mentality against Washington unloading the countries cost onto Texans. I think RP has done a decent job at keeping Texas one of the leaders on the economic front and keeping Texas Independent. I do not agree with the way he handled the gay protest on the Capitol, but I hope that he will come around to see that some gay Texans have some of the same interests in mind as he does.

I would argue that since Medina is not a career politician like Perry (who has barely held a job in the private sector) she is more in touch with the concerns of people like you in this state. Perry doesn't care - otherwise he wouldn't have been pushing the trans texas corridor all these years in blatant disregard for Texas property owners. He even ignored the TX GOP platform which is against the TTC. Hutchison is a whole other story...

How is it that you think that Hutchison is a RINO but not Perry, who used to be a democrat (far later than the moderate democrats of Reagan's day), and voted for the largest tax increase of ANY state in the Texas house. The guy voted for JIMMY CARTER in '76 for pete's sake.. and remained a democrat throughout the Reagan years. He only left the democratic party because he was denied a leadership position in the state house. Talk about a RINO..
