Cohen can get away with a sort of mumbling because he almost talks this song, but in singing it Isakov should improve his diction (like Brandi), or get another centimetre or two back from the mic. Otherwise the vocal effect is akin to singing underwater.

This was gorgeous to hear live... Their voices are absolutely haunting together. Gregory Alan Isakov's second album (which Brandi collaborated heavily on) is fantastic - a must-have for any Brandi fan!
