A very long time ago, my sister went off to France as part of her training to be a language teacher; there is a bit of an age gap between us, but I remember her rning home with a number of french albums. Even as a 9-10 year old, I loved to listen to Mireille, and nothing has changed since then. Powerful, emotional and beautiful.

Wow, I love how that dress moves, and changes color with the light. Her beautiful figure has really made this dress a work of art. It would be too long by todays standards in ball dresses, but very mod when this was done. I know she doesn't like jewelry, but I think wrist jewelry would have been an asset with that dress. I got to hear her sing this and many songs on Boulevard des Capucines. The audience went wild, as they obviously are huge fans :-)
