What I thought was funny about this run, was this: if you notice my first lap split beats his by .009. I lost .044 on him on the second lap, but on my 3rd lap I gained .044 on him, so the first lap is what mattered. :p

No, because you release the MT earlier on last lap, it's always faster. On first lap, you use the MT right after you pass the finish line (so it counts 2nd lap). Thats why the first lap seems to be slow...
