  • Nas is the greatest

  • Meet me by the statue of liberty, bring a bottle of olde english

  • <3

  • Just heard this on rush hour and thought "That's Cee Lo!"

First time I watched that and heard this song all I was doing was listening to Nas haha! Never heard of Cee Lo then unfortunately!

  • lmao how'd jay-z lose to him cuz nas did ether which was just talkin shit to jigga?! listen to the takeover he speaks truth and goes at more then one rapper and is sittin on more gold albums then nas can dream of lmao at jigga losing!!!

  • @pinkion yea well too bad for you beef aint about having some gold albums nor about money or how many groupies you have.

Nas killed jay on ether...Nas is one of the most respected, legendary rappers ever, so how can some weak rapper like jay-z kill Nas.

Verything jay-z now has he has to thank nas for it, i mean who was jay's teacher...yeah that's right NAS!

  • @4BadKarma listen to the take over, jay-z uses lyrics and truth to get at nas. Not a bunch of high school insults. he rides on nas!

  • @pinkion You honestly believe that Takeover was a better diss track than Ether? Takeover was a great track, no doubt, but Nas was RUTHLESS on Ether, absolutely ruthless and destroyed him. You say Jay uses truth and goes at more than one rapper? Ether was also true (apart from the homosexual cusses). Takeover barely gets at other rappers, he says it at the end "All you other cats throwing shots at Jigga, you only get half a bar, fuck y'all n******". Nas won, everyone accepts it. It's history.

  • @ScotchW10 lmao jigga goes hard and clearly won seeing as how nas bitched up n signed to jiggas record company and jigga is still making hot albums. N the truth like hova said "You said you been in this ten

I've been in it five - smarten up Nas

Four albums in ten years nigga? I can divide

That's one every let's say two, two of them shits was due

One was - NAHHH, the other was "Illmatic"

That's a one hot album every ten year average"

  • @pinkion Whatever dude, you're completely an ass kissing delusional idiot. I respect both Jay and Nas, but if you can't see things like normal people, then that's your loss.

  • @pinkion You know thats just silly. Jay has only had probably 2 good albums that you can actually listen to all the songs without skipping them: Reasonable Doubt and The Black Album. What you doing is comparing a business man to raw talent. you know that Jay's a good business man and thats why hes rich where as nas is an mc. And Reasonable Doubt had guest rappers, Illmatic had 1: Az, yet Illmatic is still a doper album. Not to forget that Jay-Z was the one that actually "bitched up".

  • Jay's still making hot albums? watch the throne is garbage

  • gotta love lalo schifrin. Cee lo is off the chain

  • @littledanea yep!

I'd recognise his voice from anywhere =D

  • @littledanea yes

  • Search for "Alan Lawson Fuck You" for a badass cover of Cee-lo's Fuck You!

  • THIS SONG IS SOOO DOPE

  • Cee Lo isnt Outkast, Outkast is part of Dungeon Family so..."Waiting for a real Nas/Dungeon Family song"

  • Yes ALL THE DAMN MUSIC THESE DAYS SEEMS LIKE IT'S JUST ONE FUCK'IN "UNCE" AWAY FROM TECHNO MUSIC WHERE HAVE ALL THE REAL HIP HOP ARTISTS GONEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • We always have to come back to Nas to remember why we got into music in the first place!

  • Waiting for a REAL NAS/OUTKAST SONG!!!!!

  • @BossmanHarrington

Holy shit. I would give up more than one limb for that to be a reality.

  • Imma do this, but I got less than 500 characters lol

The real is back, wack take a seat let me speak, learn somethin from this germ im bumpin through the mic. It's nasty, yet classy and drastically bright, brilliant. From the floor to the celin. Heaven or hell, I pick heaven, hell swells. Till it burst, in the lake of fire. Word to moch im the pharoahe its my desire

  • greatest eva!

  • Rush Hour Theme song

  • Nas is the epitomy of an artist. As a writer and musician I am incredibly jealous of him. He's sold millions of records and is now at a point where he can do whatever the fuck he wants. Hip Hop Is Dead and Nigger are beautiful albums. Can't wait to hear Distant Relatives.

  • cee-lo teamed up with dj dangermouse and made gnarls barkley

  • whoa never knew that lol

  • Nas is the greatest

  • wait i thot gnarles barkley was the guy singing? his name is Cee-lo?

  • yea befo he went by dat it was cee lo

  • @PWNMadK Cee-lo is in Gnarles barkley. its a group

  • Gnarls Barkley is not a guysits a group, Cee-Lo Green and DJ Danger Mouse

  • @PWNMadK His name is Cee-Lo. Gnarles Barkley is the name of the band he's in. Before that, he was in a rap group called Goodie Mobb. They came up with Outkast in Atlanta back in the early 90's.

  • @Antrizzle2009 Damn man you know your cee-lo. Goodie Mobb for life man.

  • @nite90210 It's just funny to me the young heads that have come up and only know him from Gnarles Barkley. Cee-Lo was doing his thing long before Gnarles came out. Just figured he needed proper recognition.

  • @Antrizzle2009 I actually got lucky. Sometimes I go to the FYE and just grab CD"s that look good and I grabbed one of Cee-lo's and loved it.

  • @PWNMadK he was cee-lo of goodie mob before he was gnarls barkley

  • what did the girl say

  • The beat is stock because it was in Rush Hour 3. You can hear the theme in the bass and pad.

  • That theme you hear, whilst used in Rush Hour 3, is in fact the theme from Bruce Lee's 'Enter the Dragon'. 'Rush Hour' uses the sample. Lalo Schifirin scored the first rush hour and 'Enter the Dragon'.

  • One of my favorite Nas songs b/c Cee-Lo is on it. Sure the beat is stock, but it goes w/ the song.

  • cee-lo = dope

    nas = dope

    beat = okay

bitch in the beginning = don't have a clue whut she said

  • this beat is horrible for two TITANS like this!!

  • its a beat made by salaam remi for a movie theme song.. what do you expect? Its actually not even that bad IMO

  • I love Cee-lo so much!!!! WHEN HIS NEXT GNARLES BARKLEY ALBUM COMING OUT???!!!

  • dope movie with a dope song ahaha

  • why can't nas make more shit like this?

    dope tune

  • this is a fat song im geting older im liking the style of cee-lo its suites the older growing hip hop heads LOL wicked tune

  • Comment removed

  • It would be amazing if Lalo Scriffin produced his own hip hop album. Love to hear Doom rapping over a hip hoppy version of the "Enter the Dragon" theme.

  • surprised me when I saw them do a song together, and I have to say for this case:

    rap+soul=great music

  • Is this on Nas's album? Anyone know which one?

  • its on nas greatest hits

  • Yeah thanks mate! Its also on the Rush Hour 3 Soundtrack... that's what the track was made for I think

  • his greatest hits album

  • No it is not. It's on the Rush Hour 3 Soundtrack.

  • its also on Nas' greatest hits album

  • @IProphetI That album is sick! I got it yesterday <3

  • I get so into this song that it feels so short

  • Nas lyrics. Cee-Los creativity. This song is classic.

  • the only positive thing to come out of rh3

  • if that pic is lo he has gotten really fat

no hate though, all love cee lo is my #1

  • nah thats nas bruh

  • hahaha, he's your number 1 and u dont even know what he looks like...

  • this my shit

  • this on the rush hour 3 :]

  • woooo

  • lady*

  • "she can be a devil in deguise, incubus" Nas is great...

  • is this produced by dangermouse? cos it sounds a bit gnarls barkley-ish

  • no it's poduced by Salaam Remi

  • thanks

  • Cee-lo is gnarls barkly...you dont remember goodie mob?

  • cee lo is half of gnarls barkley dude. the other half is dangermouse, hence my question.

and no i don't remember goodie mob. don't you remember the members of gnarls barkley

  • LOL... you're right... He's HALF of gnarls barkley... but saying you don't remember that cee-lo is from goodie mobb is like saying you didn't know method man was in wu tang... Ok not quite because goodie is WAY WAY less popular but still. That's basically it.

  • you're right actually

  • i didnt know meth was a member of wu tang ......lmao im joking im joking

  • WHAT? YOU DUMB ASS

  • Nas is crazy and he has this been that way even jay-z lost to him so give up to him for he one of the long runners in the game.

  • @shadowchrushingplam Jay - who?

  • @oh2b16again jigga who ?

  • There's so many great MC's that have vanished or fell off, Nas makes me proud. He's a worthy King.

  • @Sensaye25 yes he is and that album Distant relatives he put together with Damian Marley was the definition of music as a whole

  • who better than Nas he lays down hot lyrics on any beat any song

nigga is a legend second to none

  • quiet is kept

  • OK,people i was very tired and it was late at night when i posted OK jeez one comment and the devil children comeout and start terrorizing the posters. I DIDNT KNOW OK. Enough with the rude comments i know!!

  • gained a little wieght

  • "i don't run out of magic

    popular, box-cutter flow"

    nas still got it

  • yea he do

  • listen to the music instead of reading wiki.. then you get all the facts you need

  • Thank You kali and IMB4L4ND for the smart info.

Nexexs95 just know ur facts before u post shit about someone stealin a style. And fuck being nice. Cee-Lo was part Goodie Mob aka "Who Peepin In My window" a fucking classicfrom the early 90's and Trans DF Express aka The Dungeon Family another group Outkast was apart of. And Nexexs95 dont cry dry ya eye.

  • That is the singer from Gnarls Barkley dumbass. Who u think Cee-Lo is? Get on your music history ass. Bitches like you make me sick.

  • dumbass. <__<

    Gnarls is the group.

Cee Lo is IN the group.

  • Well, I just looked for Cee-Lo at wikipedia..It says that Cee-Lo is a well known Hip-Hop artist and also known as Gnarles Barkly;)

He also wrote songtext and was in some Hip Hop groups ( dont know which kind of hip hop they made) Goodie Mob however hope i could help ya! any questions missing look at wikipedia xD

  • Thank you for the polite reply, unlike that jerk over there, you are very nice ^^

  • clo was apart of the dungeon family (andree 3000 bigboi ali gipp clo and a few other people) this is how outkast came 2 b and clo and a few others came together to make gnarles barkley(its a group idk y people think its just clo)

  • This song is raw, love Cee-Lo's voice, and Nas rips it.

  • speekin ov da dungeon fam........y dey aint doin it bigga..........i kno dey caked up but dey need ta make muzik 4 more cats worthy ov dey beets i.e. busta, nas, and yall kno who im talkin bout

  • hip hop is not dead

    proof

  • awesome song!!

  • didnt they use this song in the end of rush hour 3?

  • yeah this song was made for that movie. lol

  • great song

  • One of so few who matter anymore, but damn... he matters

  • ViNTAGE NaS!!!!

  • this song is hot i got this song on myspace profile

  • This song is fiyaaa!!

  • nas is hip-hop!!!! ...hop-hop has turned into a tool used to dumb out our youth...believe it!!!!!!!

  • @TRIGGER927 it really has.

every song is all electronic, all rappers talk about is rolling or getting fucked up.

they encourage it. by the time all the kids that listen to mainstream hip hop are 30 theyre gonna be druggies or just really fucking stupid.

  • @ktownsasuke Yeah you said it...really fucking stupid. Kids these days are dumb, and even the generation of new parents these days, they're fucking stupid.

  • exellent

  • ceelo is my favorite artist. Nas did his thing.

  • NAS is the rap equivalent of Death Metal. So fucking heavy and so far beyond his time.

    This one just devastates.

    So good.

  • i wish they have an instrumental version

  • it was on his greatest hits album #2. yo bt dis song is pretty ill.

  • Love this Song!

    Nas and Cee-Lo 4 LIFE!!!!!!!!!

  • when did this song drop and what album is this one on? I'm a big fan of Nas and the like the Cee-lo of the Goodie Mob days.

  • never mind, I just found out it's on the Rush Hour 3 soundtrack.

  • this is that shhh that gets you in the mood for some ol' righteous shhh........

  • this song is ill.

but you look at the comments and no one's even paying attention to the music.

  • what the fuck is wrong with everyone on youtube you all bitch and slag one another fuck all you bitter biatches and fight to be the one who knows it all fuck me get a life people

  • Well said. These kids don't know shit.

  • Where do u missinformed kids come from, some of u should not comment on anything having to do with HipHop cuz ya'll don't know a damn thing. Nas was never signed to Jay, Jay was an employee jus like nas was,He don't own Def Jam, nd another thing Nas didn't even reoport to that nigga he reports to LA Reid who is the reason Nas is now at Def Jam. Listen the nigga ain't on Roccafella Records, he's on DEF JAM where Jay don't even work at anymore.

  • THANK YOU!!!!

  • THANK YOU!

  • Im curious? Did Nas loose some of his fan base when he ended up working for Jay Z? Someone he traded lyrical gunshots back and forth for a few years. Just curious maye Nas fans can answer that one.

  • I still think that Nas is cool. But in a way it seems like Nas lost. I mean he killed Jay with Ether but now Jay is gonna make money off of Nas's next album.

  • Jay doesnt even work for Def Jam anymore.

  • Jay never WORKED FOR Def Jam. He owned it. But if he sold it or something, thats new news to me. i never heard that...

  • Well whatever...he is no longer the president of Def Jam anymore. However you want to put it.

  • yeah but nas got his own label from the deal so not a bad deal and no he is just as great even though he sign with jay but y do u think people like listin to songs with big and pac on them cause two great mother fuckas on a label just make it better no matter is they ever beefed

  • I still like this guy.His music's good

  • Get over Nas and Pac. Take Cee-Lo lol

  • I don't know y everyone is arguing about who's better. Both Nas and Pac are great lyricist and they represent REAL hip hop. Get over your selves...

  • nas and pac would have been friends anyways cuz nas was gonna be on one nation album

  • no im not hating on nas, i think nas is a great rapper, the only reason i started talking was cuz someone said 2pac isnt real that all his songs was bullshit and thats so far from the truth. i have nothing against nas, just against people who are to unoriginal to come up with there own stuff like jay z using me and my girlfriend lol

  • Hell naw, Pac was the realest rapper of all IMO. Pac spoke on real shit like racism and shit (my fav is "I dont give a fuck"). Nas touched on that shit a little too, but not on the level that Pac did.

  • I love Pac to def, and will always remain a fan, but if you a TRUE Pac fan, you would know that he is not consistent. I mena for real, compare all his songs before and after Death Row. You'll know the real Pac is gone after the Death Row sign. Basically that you just see the Pac that is trying to sell.

  • What are you talking about Nas goes more in depth than Pac ever did. And im not even a real Nas fan yet i notice the difference

  • no nas cd was ever weak or wack. his production was shaky on them both but his lyrics exceed any track listen to his lyrics and not the beats he drops a jewel on almost every song.

  • oh and one more thing nas street dreams has the same beat as all eyez on me, and all eyez on me song was out 6 months before it was written. Yeah read shit before you open your mouth

  • If you were smart you'd know that the beat was sampled from Linda Clifford. It was neither Tupac's nor Nas' beat. Get off Pac's dick already dude and let the man RIP.

  • thats why nas said on "nas is coming" on the it was written album niggaz stealing beats...dre said he gave that to nas 1st and pac took it before dre left death row

  • i already showed how nas bites him so go ahead and call me a jocker im not the one that imitates a fucking dead man. So get ur facts straight

  • well since when does making fairytales real. everything nas raps about hasnt happened to him! u do not make any sense at all fag

  • as for me being a 2pac jock rider? are u out ur mind i was simply discussin the views by millions of rap fans, thats bit being a rider. 2pac was real u cant even debate nas is a wannabe. Atleast 2pac had heart enough to help the community, nas would never give out 500,000 dollars to the homeless on thanksgiving after gettin shot and gettin deathreats

  • no shooting at police and that doesnt make u real, but nas raps about that and has he done it no? hes not real hes a liar with his fairytales. cant u read i said hes a good rapper maybe u need to go back to school with ur 4th grade skill level then u can come debate

  • Name a song where Nas raps about shooting at police. And for the record, Biggie and Nas were at the top on the East when Big was alive, and thats why they battled each other. I do agree that Nas is not on Pac's level when it comes to speakin that real shit and emotion, but youre just outright biased and hating on Nas. It's clear as day.

  • he not glorifying that life he trying to uplift his people...thats his job as am mc because hes a role model.... give the man credit he aint like lil wayne encouraging kids to do drugs

  • 2PacLivesOn71... youre a bit of a jock rider. oh and getting beat up and shooting at cops doesnt make you real. i shouldnt even have to waste my time telling someone this but i have to remember where we live and the state of affairs nowadays in hiphop and the world, so i beg you dude. if youre that passionate about hiphop and wanna be all supercritical about how much of an artist this or that guy is, please just put your effort into making your own music not bitching about other peoples'.

  • Dont get me wrong nas is a good rapper compared to alot of people out there today but hes not even close to Pac or even biggie of that matter

  • Let 2pac and Biggie RIP already you dick rider. Theyre both legends but they are dead. And since when does shooting at police make you real? Youre not making any sense at all.

  • pacs songs wasnt always about him it was about the struggle, all nas does is bite, just like the video where he thinks hes black jesus carrying the cross, he got that from pac, just like the video it has pac in it and then it shows him as pac wtf is that shit. nas is unoriginal

  • pac went to jail even before he was famous, when u get beatdown by police, and even shoot at police and get away with it thats when ur real, nas never went through any of that. 2pac has impacted twice as many people then nas ever will so u tell me whose real.

  • Shooting at the police and getting "beatdown" makes you real?

    Wow

  • 2pac wasnt real u idiot? why u think hes dead? cuz he wasnt real? u got to be kidding me nas is still alive cuz he aint shit compared to pac. pac had him shook so get ur facts straight

  • U think that Nas is alive because he wasn't real? You're stupid. Pac is dead because he was actin crazy even after gettin shoot 5 times. At least Nas is more relaxed and he can live comfortably with his money. And on the album 'Hip hop is Dead' he admitted that he's not goin back to the hood.

  • People dont realize that Pac was at times an irrational loudmouth and that could be why he got took out who knows. You have to calm the fuck down and grow up. He unfortunatly didnt get a chance too. Yes he was a good lyrisist in a way but some people glorify his irrational side and it sends the wrong message.

  • Yeah, he prolly would be alive now if he just chilled out a little more...
