the ice is supposed to melt, just like how the snow melts in Canada. Winter -> spring = snow melt. If the ice didn't melt, then the whales can't come to the arctic since they won't be able to surface for air.

How to presume that the Earth's climate is just perfect and any change is 1) bad and 2) caused by man's emissions. Both points are unproveable. Look at a map, how Hawaiian air has a straight shot at Alaska. Our nice Marine climate in BC has been cool and wet - "our" warmer air has gone to the Yukon. Just jet stream changes.

you only see computer generated images of the artic, but you dont see real time images of it from the space station becuase the government is lying to us. they are doing it so that we all buy energy efficient appliances and cars and so that they can increase oil prices. if you never see images from the space station of the artic, then how can you be sure the ice caps are melting? because the government tell you they are? dont trust the government because they put mercury in vaccines and so on...
