ok... i think you probably need to understnd the context of this battle... all competitors get given the SAME SAMPLES and only 2 days to make their set. so... for this guy to remake these classics (some you might not know as classics because they're from new zealand) with random samples within this time frame is pretty good.....

if i gave you hundreds of albums to sample and an mpc you could never have the ear to do something remotly close to this...first you have to pick your samples, then you have to remember where they are on the pads, then you need to mix tons of different sounds into one song with perfect rhythm all by urself...this is a new age instrument and people better start seeing it that way cause its probably the hardest thing anyone can do musically

The content of my argument was based on respecting beat making, not saying playing any other instrument is not as challenging. If you have ever played the drums though you would know that not just anyone can sit down and make a good beat. Add that with mixing music and u have a very layered challenging musical experience.
