I can only begin Blue Pearls (playlist) with Gary Moore. How many blues and rock legend's can you name that were spawned from this mans musical genius ?
Wow ... amazing! This is my favourite version and I've been looking for this for ages. I have it on cassette too from a Radio1 Friday Night Rock Show broadcast but didn't know where or when it had been performed. He was truly an awesome guitarist and musician ... RIP Gary. I regret never going to see him play live :-(
This song makes me travel to my long forgotten past whit all of its good and bad moments, but what ever I think of them they wouldn't be so good without this song for that I have to thank you, it is shame and pity that you are not anymore whit us to make some more of this sweet lovely music. Thank you for that, and rest in peace Gary.... I hope you make some good and sweet music in haven now.
This Song has seen me shed tears for nearly 30 years for all the loved ones i've lost over the years and now as befits the great man that made it, the tears come again.
Rest in peace Gary! Rocking it up in the sky with Phil Lynott. You introduced me to rock music with this song as a child, so now i dedicate it to your memory. Long live rock, May it never die!
This version is from album "Gary Moore Live" released in 1984 by JET label in UK and Japan only by LP. This particular version was never released in CD. I still have the LP. This version is my favorite among all of his, truly outstanding perfrmance by a legenary musician
both . i have seen him 4 times and each one got worst . but the last in april in leeds yorkshire was real bad all he did was to tell the bass player and the fans to fuck off . he is real moody and not very good any more .
Great! This was the first version of Parisienne Walkways I heard back in '87. I still have it on cassette tape: "Nuclear Attack - The Best Of Gary Moore" (1985).
This is the best version! When I play Parisienne walkways, I play this version. Unfortunatly I don't know when it was played, and where,on what concert? If someone knows please do tell,i would like to know.
So tasteful. Definitely the best version of this classic track.

Absolutely incredible - sounds like he is using a guitar with a Floyd Rose which was during his "rock" era so it could be 1980's? Just a guess.
