I am sorry, it just doesn't ring true. And it's not the red, bearded puppet.
I think it is the use of complex sentence structure expressing complete thoughts that doesn't seem right. Try to have nonsensical sentence fragments appear as if they just float around in her brain until they pop out at random..

Why did you spend all that time making a Six puppet then, as far as I can tell, never use it? But when you want to do Sarah Palin you don't even bother to use a puppet that looks like her?

I re-used an existing puppet as Palin because I didn't want to take the time to build her.
As far as Six goes, that's still happening; it just hasn't happened *yet.*

Also, I can't help but look at that puppet and see the top lip as a mustache. No clue why, but she looks to have a fairly big mustache.
