I can see perhaps why Nicole is even more mean to Carmen after she quit the squad; Nicole offered a spot and Carmen quit. But I doubt that is the real reason why.

But why are only those girls in that class? And why aren't any of the other students watching their fight in the cafeteria? That doesn't seem realistic.
