@EvolvedHel there is a kind of hack for it. you first have to downpatch to 1.12, then go here gamerlimit . com /2009/08/diablo-2-high-resolut­ion-patch-best-thing-since-sli­ced-bread/ (remove spaces) Please note you can't get on Bnet when this is installed

the program call "multires" , but you cant play on battle.net or you can be banned. just put on google and play. high resolution works only in 1 mode, i dont remember if is directdraw or directd3 ;P
