  • Next time I see a fully functional grenade, I'm going to drop it in a bucket of water.

  • achja achoei,,,

  • COPYRIGHT!!!

    SOMEBODY REPORT HIM

    lolz

  • my teacher year 1-3 in elemantary school everytime we would get to loud she would walk out pf the room until we all where quiet (how that worked back then i have no idea)

  • Back then, they used to have paddling in school if you misbehaved unlike today. It's what my grandfather, and parents, told me.

  • Alan Reed, Cool.

He and Mel Blanc were like Jackie Gleason and Art Cartney.

  • Great Cartoon from 1952.

  • Goofy is hit by a Damn Father. What a unfair!

  • I'm guessing the sex education was torn off because the students already knew (considering how red Goofy's face turned overhearing the joke), not because Walt Disney was against the idea of kids knowing what a penis does. :P

  • Turkish teachers are childfuckers.

  • @LorinServan you got your school education from turkey....hmmm please share your experience. ROFL!!! :D

  • well... ok

  • pretty good

  • Is it just me or the narrator sounds like Louis Armstrong ?

  • @teddyxiao The narrator is Alan Reed who is most famous for the voice of Fred Flinstone, he was a radio personality before Fred. He had a starring role in Life with Luigi where he played a restuarant owner called Pasquali.

  • @reddfigg Oh really ? I never knew this guy, he's the flinstone guy huh. Good to know

  • I wonder what George was whispering about 2 his friends

  • After his family moved to another town George brought the same attitude to another school. However, unlike his old school this school featured a zero-tolerance policy on weaponry (firearms & grenades) and when caught he was expelled.

George spent 6 months in Juvenile Hall; while many youths learned their lesson George didn't and his life went to Hell. He now lives in an alley behind a Red Lobster.

Moral: Kids, don't be like George. Don't bring your guns and grenades to school.

    Now you know.

  • @Culture261 I can't vouch for the States but here in the UK I'm told all the time by people how easy teaching is and I usually suggest to those people that if that’s the case, they should go and become one...but they never do. The fact is that qualifying actually takes 6-7 years after you finish compulsory education at 16 (two years doing A-Levels, 3-4 years doing your degree - mine was 4 - then a year for your post-graduate teaching qualification). Plenty of baseless myths about easy hours too.

  • Teachers get a bad rep cause its one of the easiest occupations in the US, if you want to phone it in. Only 2 years of education, work your way to about 50k for a little over half a years work. Then if you get in trouble, Jackpot!, you get to go to a rubber room or just sit at the house and collect paychecks since the Union doesnt allow teachers to get fired for most causes. Heres the real kicker, after all this, people will still treat you like a hero and say your underpaid. lmao

  • @Culture261

Say that to my friends in the NAU College of Education or any professional who's been in field for a while, and you'd be laughed at.

  • @DemonFoxAkira I can only hope you are assuming about people that have been in the field for a while. As for your friends, since they are studying to become teachers maybe they have not had the chance to see how poorly the system can be. It is hard to believe that the hard working teachers, which are the vast majority, can not see what the slackers are doing. With you having friends that teach, it seems you would have more respect for them then that.

  • @Culture261

Way more respect than you, apparently, with your "teaching is one of the easiest careers" statement. Besides, I don't assume. I actually know many of these professionals. Also, the friends I'm talking about are juniors, seniors and people coming back for their Masters after years of teaching. The NAU College of Education is highly regarded in the US and accepts no slackers. You have to research the field itself and bust your ass before they even consider accepting you.

  • @DemonFoxAkira I never said that, I said it was easy if you want to phone it in. According to your earlier statement, its simple, if I tell one of these teachers you speak of that the minority of teachers are slack and hurting the reputation of the vast majority and they bust out laughing, they are disconnected and may be contributing to the problem. Again, if you have friends in the teaching field, it is strange to try and defend the ones hurting them. Maybe you misunderstood.

  • @Culture261

Oh....I see. Sorry I snapped at you. I thought you were just making fun of the education field in general and those involved.

  • Some teachers are pompous assholes.

  • @uncutsquid I think that statement applies to "some" people in all walks of life. I'm one of those "trendy" teachers who's "down with the kids", LOL.

  • @RickDougall Oh, you have to watch out for those "trendy" ones. They will act cool in front of you then rat you out to the man.

  • @uncutsquid Hey, I AM the man. LOL

  • A grenade? O.o

  • OWNAGE! XD

  • that awkward moment when your teacher asks you to read out loud, and you don’t even know what page they’re on.

  • @juanr711 yeah I bet

  • George would be perfect for a Trojan commercial.

  • ¡Qué bestias! Pero en Chile está prohibido "maltratar" a estos angelitos con observaciones negativas, suspensiones o malas calificaciones. Hay que soportar todo, o irse de la educación.-

  • Three of my daughters are teachers. Go teachers.

  • They need to bring back the DUNCE cap and stool

  • Yes, because if we bomb a school now, that's TOTALLY our only punishment.

  • So familiar...

  • 2:47 That's what is going to happen to our kids if we keep believing to the gibberish of Charlton Heston.

  • Those clothes that the kids r wearing in this cartoon r the same clothes that my grandma wore when she was little

  • Great video and I have a George in my class too! Except his name is Zach! Wish I had Goofy as a teacher!

  • omg less than 20 fps....

  • George is a brat. lol.

  • Where did that kid get a grenade?

  • @MrJohnffrey87 You obviously havn't worked in telford......

  • first, there was 13, then, there was 18, then, there was 17, then, there was 17 again! 4:49 Holy crap!!!

  • Comment removed

  • those kids look like dumb asses

  • I loved this episode; reminds me of both, my childhood and work!

Hillarious when he gets rid of the "birds n' bees" sign!

  • That's why my country has Teacher's Day. Exactly, this job is really harsh, so if somebody wants to become a teacher, they have to think carefully before making decision.

  • Who else forgot that cartoons used to have bombs and guns as jokes?

  • Nowadays, George would be seen as a terrorist. In 1952, he was perceived as simply being a troublemaker and a delinquent.

  • hahaha omg!! I have a student JUST like George!

  • No way in hell they would air this on tv nowadays , kids with grenades switch blades and bombing the school , yes no way in hell

  • LMAO!! George is a fucking terrorist! XD

I'm trying to imagine a teacher from 1951 acting all nonchalant to a school shooting today like it's a typical school day. *yawn* "oh look, Andrew brought a gun to school today... he's so silly" BD

  • Zomg i thought george had a Gun

  • Bringing a grenade to school in

1952-it is merely a harmless prank.

2011- it is a terrorist attack.

  • this is funny because i started school today

  • A good thing I never bomed the school.

  • Assman. Mature text. Way to go, you should write a book about your ideas

  • Why can today's cartoon be more like this? I miss the old cartoon.

  • Teaching is the hardest and a very ungratefull job to do right and the easiest job to slack off at. It is also a vital job to do right.

  • You do wonder why children get so contempted with school. Among their earliest history lessons should be that, before school became compulsory, children had to work very hard and, usually, in a manual labour situation.

  • Children become contempt of school because when learning is forced, it becomes arduous. Learning is natural- and aside from guidance, children don't need to be forced, or have the assumption made that they're ignorant.

It's like if someone came to you and said "Breath. Eat. Breath- are you breathing? I want you to demonstrate your breathing to me so I know you can breath."

When surrounded by information but not forced into it, children will learn happily.

  • 14 apples lol

  • some teachers can be bitches

  • George belongs to the military school.

  • oh Julia.....

  • lol! george got so many weapons...

  • even in 1952 schools had a gun problem...

  • @OhNoItsTheBeastman thats a cool thing tat i ever seen...

  • Ah, the glorious fifties, when you could actually joke about bombing the school in a Disney cartoon...

  • @451ianDragonist and have kids bring in guns and knives, and kid around about sex, are we sure we are evolving in the right direction?

  • I love how Goofy says wrong.

  • Teachers are the heroes on this world. Dealing with rude kids, angry parents, and such. To me, I don't know how they can handle that every year. To all teachers, both on youtube and in their jobs, keep up the good work!

  • someone send this to Governor Rick Scot

  • LOL George is crazy!

  • 2:40 he had that much stuff O_O

  • wtf, i didn't know these were on youtube :)

  • George is an example of a child terrorist.

  • Oh my god 1:12. Fucking deathtrap for the next person who walks through there!

  • I love how he tears up the Birds&Bees poster after he hears the kids joke:The kids know it all all ready.LOL

  • watch my video:fuckers are people

  • Hey what's the matter with my kid's grandma? LMAO

  • @007MrYang

I think he said "Grammar. " haha. (:

  • remind me of pinocchio

  • This is just an exaggeration of what happens at school. It is not to be taken literally. It's supposed to be funny.

  • Wheres the black people?

  • I had this history teacher back in Junior year. Man he was awesome. Swore like a sailor, actually KNEW what the hell he was talking about (and wasn't afraid to prove it if someone challenged him) And actually cared about the kids. I heard he let one kid stay at his place for a full year because the kids dad was in prison and the mom was in rehab. Kid got a job, his own place, became a firefighter, and all that. The teacher deserved way more than they payed him.

  • @Jehosh27

That's amazing what he did for that lad :O What a lovely man.

  • @OpaqueDragon4 Yeah. The only teacher from high school whose name I can still remember. Really gotta look him up sometime.

  • who esle freaked out at 5:40?

  • Teachers don't kill people. People kill people.

  • jajaja este vídeo tiene mucha enseñanza y nos demuestra como ser en un colegio ya que en este vídeo se ve recochas e indisciplina en clase grandioso el vídeo

  • 4:50 What the F? They had guns in school in the fifties? Well, I guess it's not just something from todays generation XP

  • 1952 - When you bomb a school, you wright 10 sentences on the chalkboard saying that you won't do it again.

2011 - When you bomb a school, you get sentenced to prison for more than 10 years

  • More like 1952 - Children didn't bring dangerous weapons into schools!

    2011 - Children do!

  • @Bowmaj21 Yeah I'm sure the knife fights in the fifties were fought with pencils.

  • @Bowmaj21 There have always been phychopaths and idiots that bring weapons into a school. Don't blame a whole generation.

  • haha George is just one of those nerds tryin to be cool i hate them

  • "Ehh whats da matta wit my kids gramma?" *bonk*

  • @wulf02 My Dad an ex English teacher would have laughed at that.

  • imagine if this cartoon was made last year; the ending would drive the cartoonists to court, hell, and back in that order

  • @ledzeppelinfan6 last year as in 2010? what happened then? the only thing i remember was the Virginia Tech shooting in 2007.

  • As a teacher, I wish the students at my school were similar to the ones featured in this cartoon. That should inform you of how terrible there are.

  • As a teacher, I was born this way.

  • 1:07 Pinocchio XD

  • 5:57 Wow, Bart Simpson 0.1

  • VERY INTERESTING VIDEO. I'M A SUBSTITUTE TEACHER FOR PRE-KINDERGARTEN TO HIGH SCHOOL & HAVE BEEN INVOLVED IN THE CLASSROOM SINCE 1995.

  • @AdodiBro Do you shout at your students too?

  • Ending reminded me of the beginning of a very famous cartoon these days ;)

  • I am so happy that I am not a teacher!

  • It's like George wanted to pull a Columbine or something. He needs a whole tank of Whoop-As opened on him

  • Narrated by the future voice of Fred Flinstone...lol

  • Don't know if anyone else mentioned this before, but it's cool how the narrator is the same voice as Fred Flinstone, lol.

  • So George was the first documented case of ADHD. Bad behavior in school and Dad defends his actions! LOL as a teacher, I did laugh at the fact that teaching hasn't changed all THAT much in 59 years

  • @irishman922 I know right. In this cartoon I saw SEVERAL of my past and present students.

  • 1:03 jughead?

  • Goofy actually makes a good teacher

  • LOl this is so true and how it is today pretty much. There are so many Georges out there controlling the schools.

  • @curtflirt2 George must be a popular name in cartoons, like the curious monkey

  • 3:37 And thus, little George Bush never learnt where Iraq was...

  • "I will not bomb the school again."

    A far cry from today.

    Though, I still laughed.

  • 59 Years Later...

    .....well :/

  • 3:24

17? But there are only 13 apples there!

  • When George pulled out the gun, I was thinking "OMW, a gun" and then "oh it's a water gun, that's ok!" Also the way George's father pulled Goofy close to him like that, I thought he was gay!

  • School must be in L.A.

  • WTF!!!!

  • That George reminds me of Bart Simpson... especially when making faces @ 4:01 and in the end when writing lines.

  • guns and grenades in school wow how appropriate

  • @hemanlovepackes this is 1952, stfu. There was alot less PC bullshit.

  • 5:35 isnt that true today with parents :(

  • @KaristaSwiss but it is. The parent blames the teacher. They do not help the teacher out.

  • i will not bomb the school again.-i bet that's actualy been said in afganastan.

  • Ohhhhhh you gota go to school so you can get a job, future companies need worker bees not another lazy slob.

The funny thing is the creativity that was being suppressed would probably lead gorge to success instead of being another cog in the machine

  • Isn't 2:08 from The Legend of Sleepy Hollow?

  • LMAO AT THE DESCRIPTION!!! "A short film from 1952 about being a teacher." pretty deep description for a goofy cartoon dont you think?

  • @IMZEECATMAN Yes, because cartoon's can't have any depth.

  • ubboiooiiioiœ

    ..

    ww

  • Fuckin' George. *shakes head and smiles*

  • I love this video about Teachers are People. Goofy is a good teacher. When I was in high school we had a lot of discipline. For instance, several years ago this teenager threatened to blow up the school with a bomb. We had to escape to go to a nearby college next door. We stayed there for two and a half hours. Thank goodness there was no bomb. That same teenager got suspended for the rest of the year because of what we did. Don't be like little George who bombed the school; be like Goofy. Goofy

  • what is the message of this film?

  • @babyxzuzu to show how hard it is to be a teacher.

  • Teachers are people. Yes, they are people. That's where a lot of problems come from, and that's where a lot of solutions can be found as well if given half a chance by school administrators and the larger community alike.

  • @tonkange Oh my good shoot yourself.

  • @tonkange you sir, are a fool

  • Dud just be a middle school and have some disaplin but not to much

  • Nice to know teenagers in the 50's weren't any better then how we are now. x]

I want to be a teacher...

Why the fuck do I? I hate kids... well, not little kids, I mean people my age.. like, 15-18. (I'm 17.)

And I want to teach High school/Middle schoolers. Why, I do not know.

I'm scared I'm going to end up kicking a student's ass and then get fired and/or sent to jail/fined.

Ehh... maybe I can be a kindergarten teacher instead?

  • @KikyoChanXD Dud just be a middle school and have some disaplin but not to much

    theevanandmontyshow 1 day ago

  • Help Save The World. Not kidding! (The) (Tea) (Party) (Truther) (Dot) (Com) Before you come to a conclusion, look into every video! Research for yourselves! Wake Up!

  • George is such a bastard :/

  • that kid george is a violent kid. he blew up the school, he coulda killed somebody. wonder what happened to him afterwards.

  • I will not bomb the school again

I will not bomb the school again

I will not bomb the school again

    Wow...XD

  • 0:13 I wish when I went to school Apples were homework assignments. lol

  • If Goofy were my teacher back when I was in school I'd never have cut class!

  • goofy...you will be missed.

  • i wish it could be the same in the real life, then i wouldnt say anything even if they bombed to school but you know education may cause unrecoverable damages in the future of them.

  • The kids coming back from recess is not far from the truth today with the way the act today coming back from recess

  • Wait...Goofy? A teacher? Goofy?

  • Is it mean or Goofy's history lession didn't make any sense? Just wondering.

  • lol hmmm, who here thinks geroge is a future terrorist lol

  • @pvtread He's a spoiled brat and a future terrorist.

  • Bombing the school?! They would never be allowed to show this nowadays.

  • At 2:42, is that gun?! Damn, George is armed like he was about to pull a Columbine or something! That kid needs a Can O' Whoop-Ass opened on him.

  • I ♥ Goofy :)

  • George is on track to be the next Republican nominee for President.

  • @wb3ebb Lol?

  • Go teachers!!!

  • i see pinochio! o_o

  • thumbs up if your teacher showed you this

  • George is a ginger, he don't have a soul. what did you expect?

  • Goofy either fails at math or is a magician, there's only 13 apples on the desk, then SOMEHOW they become 18 then 17 while he's eating them!

  • FAKE... i hope
