Too much Drama, repetitive action shots (like webbing up the wheels of the escape car) and Mindy all contributed to the decline of the show. Not to mention the fact that it followed the movies horrible plot.

Thats one of the reasons why the show was cancelled.

It contained material that was slightly aimed at pre-teens and so on due to it consisting of strong language and sexual references. It didn't get high ratings due to this since one, not many knew the show existed, two, MTV isn't really a channel kids watch and finally three, it was shown either early int he morning or late at night which isn't a time kids will be up at so its kinda obvious as to why there wasn't a season 2.

MTV who are retarded showed the show either really late at night or early in the morning when kids are sleeping. Plus the show wasn't really aimed kids either due to its sexual references and strong language. Not many knew about the show existing either nor did kids really watch MTV since it hasn't got toons so when the developers were ready to work on the next season - MTV rejected it. They went around looking for new distributors but failed.

@UrbanGamers: Censorship is stupid. Kids can hear they paren't cursing, but cartoon characters have to speak like linguistic purists.The same thing with sexual references and violence. The most violent programmes are TV news - I haven't seen as much blood in any movie as I watch on the news everyday. And sexual references you can find even when watching an educational series about wild animals. ;)

Besides, peope don't learn to control their tongues from TV (quite the opposite, I'd say). My parents cursed, yet I myself don't like cursing. It had nothing to do with TV.

PTSD is common with soldiers, but also children. This is why the ridiculous approach to bazooka guns, or electric guns or waterguns and what not were created. Children were not exposed to non-harmful weaponry. And many comics would have @$#$@ for swearing or ‘POW’ and a character would black out. Or for ‘Flash’ turning away when spiderman was injected with the needle. MTV’s was PG-14 not PG.

Parents need to do their job, and there are other ways to vent. Be inventive. "son of bacterium" would be great for peter to say. "Aww, helmut" (For Flash) heck, even the NInja turtles have,'Oh, shell!"

Children exposed to faster flashing of sequences in shows are more prone to develop ADD and ADHD. Monkey see, monkey do.

@asmodeus585 If you’re parents soaped out your mouth, something to counter the swearing which is parental guidance, or had you write “ I will not swear” 100 times, that is negative action to your behavior. This negative consequence, with constant reinforcement will lead to non-desire to swear. Mind you, many parents do not follow through . Some parents themselves may not even swear, and discourage one to do so, and their children may not swear as well. It is a learned behavior.
