I absolutely love your honesty! A LOT of guys could learn from this...I've had a few guys (like 5 or 6) confess their undying love to me, all because no girl had ever bothered to talk to them or be nice to them before. Luckily one of them is now one of my best friends, but a few got their hearts broken when I had to tell them I wasn't into them. Two things! The awkward wave-thing: god yes. A universal signal unique to our generation that means 'I am uncomfortable in this situation but trying to hide it with inane childlike gestures'.
Also: the giving your phone away to a friend who won't abuse it thing. Such a good idea, but it also brought me to the realisation that I don't have any friends like that.

great vid ! because you mentioned the point about being friends before asking them out. me and this boy have been friends for a while now and me my best friend, him and his best mate always go out with each other for wanders and parties. my bst friend and his best mate are now dating, i found out that he likes me, i kinda like him too but im scared it goes horribly wrong and ruins our friendship ... but i wont let that happen .. hopefully

I quit drinking 3 years ago for exactly he same reasons. but my friends always try to get me to drinking again, however I am pretty stable so that doesn't bother me.
and, btw, I LOVE you for being so honest! do you even know how often girls wonder about these things? girls are SO curious about boys' behaviour.

@TheSarahAllen In order to get girls, you need to be between a bad boy and a nice guy. Women say they want a 'nice guy', but that is bullshit because what they say they want and what they actually want is different. There are nice guys everywhere and women always say, "I wish I could meet one guy who isn't a jerk". Yet they go for guys like that all the time and completely ignore a nice guy. It's all because of women's ridiculous chemical reaction. If being yourself is being too nice, sorry pal.
