  • I was in Hawaii a few months ago, sadly there are not as many steel players as I hoped there would be.This takes me back, beautiful playing and a nice warm tone

  • Beautiful hawaiian music very well exposed.

  • Thank you so much Danny, Mahalo Nui Loa.

  • Basil: really great hearing some of the Jerry Byrd Music; bringing back many memories. I fell in love with the Hawaiian Guitar so naturally love the non-pedal work you were doing; Is your steel a Fender; Are you camera shy, Basil. I'm a member of the SGF from upper N.Y. State. My first visit to your new E. Forum. Enjoying it very much..Bernie

  • Hi Bernie, yes it is a Fender 1000, i think the best sounding pedal guitar for Hawaiian playing, i think it has the best tone going imo, and basil is far from shy lol,

  • It's soooo good to hear the Hawaiian guitar played in the traditional manner....before the time of screaming peddlers. Wonderful!!!

  • Wonderful as always, Bas.

  • Brilliant stuff mom and dad
