I was in Hawaii a few months ago, sadly there are not as many steel players as I hoped there would be.This takes me back, beautiful playing and a nice warm tone
Basil: really great hearing some of the Jerry Byrd Music; bringing back many memories. I fell in love with the Hawaiian Guitar so naturally love the non-pedal work you were doing; Is your steel a Fender; Are you camera shy, Basil. I'm a member of the SGF from upper N.Y. State. My first visit to your new E. Forum. Enjoying it very much..Bernie
Hi Bernie, yes it is a Fender 1000, i think the best sounding pedal guitar for Hawaiian playing, i think it has the best tone going imo, and basil is far from shy lol,

It's soooo good to hear the Hawaiian guitar played in the traditional manner....before the time of screaming peddlers. Wonderful!!!
