Not a "Fact". Wikipedia says she's 27 but that is a less than reliable source. An article on NPR, a more reliable source, says she was 19 as of Feb 26, 2004 which makes her 24-25 now. That makes this video from 2004.
Don't assume i obtained this information from wikipedia. What i stated is what IMDB said; considering how they obtain their information, i would say their information is quiet accurate. Upon further reading into, she is 25 according to yahoo music, whichever one is more accurate.
A little more research reveals she was born Eleanora Marie on Apr 13, 1984 in London England but she grew up in New York City. That combined with the fact her first album was released in 2004 when she as, as stated in the video, 19, I believe that, without a doubt, she is not 27 but 25. Case closed.

I dont think it was awkward. I think the song and the interview are women. I don't think any of us really belong here in this world and nothing holds women to this world we live in any stronger then that desire to create children whether you want it or not its always there hanging over you and this song sings the inceredible irony that is just that.

Not a "Fact". Wikipedia says she's 27 but that is a less than reliable source. An article on NPR, a more reliable source, says she was 19 as of Feb 26, 2004 which makes her 24-25 now. That makes this video from 2004.

Don't assume i obtained this information from wikipedia. What i stated is what IMDB said; considering how they obtain their information, i would say their information is quiet accurate. Upon further reading into, she is 25 according to yahoo music, whichever one is more accurate.

A little more research reveals she was born Eleanora Marie on Apr 13, 1984 in London England but she grew up in New York City. That combined with the fact her first album was released in 2004 when she as, as stated in the video, 19, I believe that, without a doubt, she is not 27 but 25. Case closed.

The funny thing is that everyone thinks that she is being ironic with this song but when Terry Gross asked her about it on Fresh Air she said that she wrote because she genuinely wanted to get married. I guess as Terry said on A Prairie Home Companion recently, "Irony is dead. Sincerity is the new irony."

I'm sorry, but she is not allowed to be popular. She actually sings. She does not merely shout. She does not shout angrily. She does not sound like she is in a domestic dispute. She does not pass off "ultra-loud vibrato" as "singing". There aren't obnoxiously loud war drums in the back ground. She doesn't act girlish.
