I am in the process of reading Becoming the Iceman...it is good man:)
What are your thoughts on using cold exposure medicinally to treat joint pain / stiffness? I'm getting over lyme disease and my joint / muscle pain and stiffness are keeping me from doing a lot of physical activity...I'm hoping these cold exposure techniques will help get me back on my feet.
Honestly, I believe that the cold exercises will greatly increase your flexibility and aid in joint pain/stiffness. Wim has trained tons of people who have all kinds of problems (knee stiffness, legs, arthritis, people with disabilities). He has even helped the elderly! I truly believe that the cold training will greatly improve your health. Just be careful, follow the exercises/method, and never force. & Smile!
@archaeloidic (From Justin): Hah! I seriously would do that with water coolers. It's the perfect way to do it if you have something that won't crack from the water freezing. Also, it's extremely efficient if you don't have ice as an option =). Good thinking!
This is epic and groundbreaking.

In Minnesota, just leave the bucket outside overnight, and take a hammer to the ice in the morning. :P
