There isn't any "emo music". If a band is labelled emo it's most likely based on what the singer looks like (emo fringe) and if he has those kind of lame whiny screams. I got nothing against Funeral for a Friend but they do kinda fit the description simply because of their singer. Take Bring Me the Horizon as another example. They're labelled as emo purely because of Oli Sykes.
