real turbos turn at about 33,000 rpm, i'll b surprised if an electric can turn and compress quicker then 9,000, not really worth it...if you want performance save up and get a real one or spend the $300 on something else... that's my opinion anyways, good luck though...

@gnish42 a turbo kit can cost anywhere from 2k-4k depending on what turbo you buy... then you still need mass amount of tuning unless your car is already single turbo... and if you are deciding on buying this shit or a turbo kit your car is going to be N/A which will require additional tuning... you have to pay money to make things work right btw... fd3s... same car I drive cost about 3-4k in tuning to get the perfect 600whp+ tune... and that is a turbocharged car...

@Tj1056 You only need a massive amount of tuning if you are going outside of what the kit had in it to begin with. And yeah having a custom tune burned off will cost more but for 99% of people they won't ever need, or properly use that anyway. Not only that, there are other options to buying a kit from someone. If a person is going for that kind of power they probably know how to put together their own kit for a lot less than what a shop would charge.

@james6948 well for one these "electric superchargers" ppl buy on ebay and shit are just puildge pumps for boats and do not make any boost just static pressure and will block air flow to the motor ata high rpm... they are junk, and when idling the car if it is making any presure its bypassing and blowing right back out the intake. the thing have been dynoed and prove thay will give you NO (NONE AT ALL) hp but on the other hand it is takig money from the ppl that have no clue about car HAHA LOL

The same Neon when equipped with a 5-speed manual has a reported 0-60 time of 8.1 seconds; a huge difference. the 300ZX in auto trim has smaller turbos than the manual
