you got that right."masters".there are many "masters", but few who have actually mastered anything. in my country i know of 3 true masters out of 6+ "masters". few who are true, and many more either have deep pockets or thay leave brazil a student and by the time the plane lands they're a master. it should be noted that many capoeiristas also choose to train bjj and/or muay thai. a master here is a bjj black belt and vale tudo champ. tying them up and reigning blows doesn't always work.

Everyone who claims that capoeira is not a martial art doesent really know a shit about it. The dance aspect is deriven from the history and most kicking techniques utilise the dynamics and rotation.
