I was seriously upset to see Sian backing Red Ken. He isn't a Green!! Its MUCH stronger to stick to principles & say vote Green & only Green!
I have voted Green ALL my life but I wouldn't ever use my vote for Labour! Sod em! Let them slip into obscurity where they belong!
Stick to Green principles next time & don't second guess the voters! The voters are screaming out for politicians with the integrity to do what they say & say what they'll do before the election!
I am disapointed reading the article by AA Gill in the Sunday Times, interviewing Sian. Why did she let herself be ridiculed by this man just before voting day?? A stronger response by her, promoting Green policies would have been more beneficial. He made the people who vote Green look like absolute weirdo's. We are never going to have an impact on the electorate if we allow ourselves to be portrayed in this way. We need to be more forthright and stop apologising for what we believe in.
sian hasn't actually got control of what people esp jounalists actually write and er The Times is er a fantastically Tory paper so howelse were they going to portray her?
maybe sian or any other green party member should not give interviews with people they know will portray them badly. It was obviously written with that in mind, so why give them bullets to fire?
I think the Greens are naifs, frankly. However, this broadcast was extremely well put together, so 5/5! (unlike the LibDems whose broadcast was shockingly bad)
I think it is great the Greens are listening to, and providing a forum, for the sorts of views you'll hear people expressing all over London about the severe difficulties faced by those on low or even "average" incomes in London.
The greens have a great chance of gaining new votes in the london and national elections. more london assembly members is a distinct possibility for the greens with just a few percent increase on 2004 results. let's hope the weather is fine for a maximum turnout and everyone decides to help change london for good.
kind of disappointed in the video. it kept the same tone all the way through. if you want to be elected mayor you have to sell Sian Berry better than that. you could not use a single sound bite from that and thats what catches the attention. also I expect to see more of Sian, much more as you are going up against big personalities in Ken/Boris, you can't be invisible. i expect Sian will get votes because she's young and pretty, but this is a popularity contest after all, isn't it?
well, Boris' wasn't great, but this seems to be a load of quotes from people moaning about stuff or whinging that they don't look after their own property. Doesn't tell me how this is related to their policies or what the policies are apart from cheaper public transport...but then it doesn't say where that money is coming from!
I'm sure greens will get votes 'cos Sian is the prettiest candidate(odd dress in this vid tho)but I'd need to be sure it's not communism in green clothes to get my vote.
i cant belive you bloody mugs voted for borris.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
So the green party are confident they can't win so don't bother making a decent election broadcast?
