Massive Wobble Update (Synced LFO functionality)

I Have a problem with the sync ratios Can someone help..... ok so i use Massive in FL studio and when i try to use the ratios instead of wobbling it just gives me one constant note... can someone tell me how to fix this?? thxx

Got it it's just Live 8 is no where near as good as 6. Full of bugs found so many and I'v had it less than a day, going to download an update that will hopefully fix them; frustrated and pissed off with ableton now used to be a brilliant reliable piece of software, now cares more about telling people how innovative it is rather that having stability in the program.

Allright, when you have a wobble bass made in Massive within FL studio, if you look at the pattern interface, you click on Massive which pops up the Massive plugin, than at the top right of the Massive screen, you see a triangle aside from some gears, pointing down. Click on it, and select: Make editor thumbnail. Than something pops up: Fruity Wrapper (presetname), click on it and than search in the list for ''MODULATOR 5RATE''. Right click it and select: Create automation clip.

That's it.

Arrow-pointing-down -> Browse parameters -> Click on the nipple you want to automate -> Now you can see it in the left sidebar -> Go and click with right mouse button -> Select Create Automation.

I also recommend the Akai LPD8. its cheap and easy to use. In combination with Ableton it's too much fun. You can assign parameters to each pad (different LFO rates, Filter settings etc) and then play your wobble bassline by tapping on the pads. You can also assign musical notes on the pads so you only have notes in the scale you want to use.

I'm using 6 and it doesn't pick it up is there a way for me to do this kind of stuff or is ableton live 6 just a piece of shit, so frustrated as literally just got massive! .

I really recommend upgrading to 8. In 8 you can drag any of the massive controls into Ableton in order to automate from there with MIDI assign. So when you click on Massive and see the box at the bottom you hit "configure" and then just clicka and drag any Massive knob, slider or whatever into Ableton. Hit MIDI in Ableton and assign to your hearts content. You won't regret shelling out for 8. It's boss.

first click on the drop menu of the fruity wrapper in the top left corner of the massive window in FL. select browse parameters, and your file browser window should show a large list of all massive's midi assignments. then you can right click the ratio amount and select MIDI LEARN and then move it. the file browser in the left side of fruity should automatically select a midi value in massive called "modulator den 5" if you're using the 5th lfo spot like in the vid. right click this and automate

Oh sorry! That's ableton, but really most sequencer/DAW applications will do this functionality. Just make sure you are running the most recent update, because some hosts do not recognize all of the possible host automation parameters.

You should be able to download the update from the NI website, then you need to install the download. And NI has heavily bumped up their download speeds, so it shouldn't take too long either!
