  • Forget Carter, focus on Artis. Did John Artis really go into that bar and shoot dead Fred Nauyaks with a single bullet ot the head? Did he really do the same to William Marins (who survived for a year) and did he really fire 5 bullets into Hazel Tanis? If you believe that Carter and Artis were the killers, then its John Artis who was the most vicious cold blooded killer in that bar. So where's the motive for his actions?

  • @4v4nte They are both Negro racists, and as such, they didn't need any reason to kill white people; that's the way racists think, plus they were both dunk at the time.

  • @GeneralLive "Your time to take over"??........LMAO. Go have another "forty" Homie.

BTW: I know you don't want to hear the truth about American Negro's, but, they commit 1000% more crimes then any other ethnic group, and at the rate that they're killing each other they could be gone before the polar bears.

  • @Dealit707 FUCK YOU. FUCKING MAGGOT. AND YOU WONDER WHY WHITES ARE THE MOST HATED RACE AROUND THE WORLD

  • @moko8861 Carter is a racist mudering animal, that sould have been put down like a rabid dog years ago..........You, are simple; ignorant, stupid and uninformed.

  • @Dealit707 so were your forefathers go complain about them

  • Rubin hurricane carter is my hero!

  • @biggsdem808 Are all of your hero's murdering racists?

  • I would sue the ass off of the police and detective that lied and twisted the truth

  • @79tazman They told the truth.

  • God bless troy davis

  • This is Inspiring, the movie and the book that costs over 100 dollars. WOW. It came to me as kind of a revelation... that my own freedom lay in not wanting... or needing anything of which they could deprive me. If punishment consisted of being locked in your cell, then by simply choosing to never leave my cell, I deprived them of that weapon.

    - from the movie the Hurriance. That is truth for inmates

  • Carter is as sociopathic racist murderer. He should have been sent to the gas chamber years ago.

  • @Dealit707 You should be sent to the gas chamber for being so stupid

  • @Dealit707 Your fucking stupied . and Should really think before you talk

  • @dude1998ful And, you should get the facts, and do research, instead of parroting your bullshit like senseless sheep.

  • @Dealit707 you should have been buried alive when u were born.

  • @santino2k6 not when he was born because then he wouldn't suffer wait till he is about 12

  • Rubin is not guilty those cops and prosocuters should be found guilty for making stuff up and thrown in jail because thats where they belong

  • @79tazman I AGREE. IT WAS A CONSPIRACY TO FRAME AND CONVICT A PERSON OUT OF HATRED AND RACISM. THE AVERY COCHERSAM HAD A GOOD LOOK AT THOSE MEN AND IT WASN'T RUBIN CARTER OR JOHN ARTIST. COCHERSAM EVEN TOL TH E POLICE, HE TOLD THEM AND HE TOLD THEM. HE EVEN SIGNED A STATEMENT FOR THE S.G.T DETECTIVE AT THE TIME BUT STILL THE STATE OF NEW JERSY WAS STILL BIASED!!!!!

  • @79tazman Carter should be straped into "Ole Sparky" with the current put on 50%, so this racist murderer would do a slow burn.

  • @Dealit707 Fuck you

  • Tell how they were never "vindicated" because no one ever found them "not guilty" (they WERE found guilty twice!). Tell how the witnesses were intimidated by Carter supporters and not just about police pressure. Tell about the ammo found IN THEIR CAR that just happened to be the same used in the shooting.

What a pile of $h!t this video is!

  • @TGOSN dude the person that survived said it wasn't them what else do u want ?? and why would a rich boxer go and kill people for no reason ?? think !!!

  • What a fluff piece! American Justice didn't even bother to present the other side just like the movie was a pro Carter propaganda work of fiction! All either did was read Carters book of fairy tales and spout the same thing. Tell about him being thrown out of the army after 16 months & 4, count 'em, FOUR court martials!!!!! About him saying he was a top contender for the title at that time when he was getting $h!t hammered in the ring 'till he was ranked only 9th! Continued........

  • "Racism rather than reason." This is not the only story here. This is a story of JUSTICE and could happen to anyone regardless of race. This should be REQUIRED STUDY IN OUR SCHOOLS TODAY. One of the best storys of life and death I've ever known.

  • Racism can not be the motive for proscecuting Carter. Two victims, one credible and one questionable witness all testify two black men left Lafyette bar. This is not in dispute. Why would the police frame two black men for racist reasons when they could simply proscute the true black killers. Carter and Artis were not lucky they were killers. I have never seen a more biased documentary. Heavily edited testimony from one proscecutor.

  • @cogdestruction there is no evidence thats points to carter and artis as being the killers. yet there is plentry that said "they are not the men"....they got what they deserved. FREEDOM

  • @cogdestruction because they didn't know who the REAL killers were

  • this is no victory. The prosecutor did everything unethical and maybe illegal to win and if I were Carter I would murder that prosecutor for the 19 years he took from me.

  • @Kruezoraxe why dont you fuckoff ...........dosy yank

let me guess you hate niggas

and so what if he did it.look at what the cops did to the black man and women in the usa

go jump off a cliff head first

  • @MultiPlayaaa So you're saying that because good black people were terrorized (which is horrifying by the way) that the bad black people should be cut some slack? Tell that to the families of the victims. if a person committed a violent crime and this includes the despicable cops of the Rodney King-like incidents, they deserve to be put in jail. Black, white, cops, civilians, does not matter. Justice should be blind.

It's interesting how I'm the bigot and yet you're the one using ethnic slurs.

  • @MultiPlayaaa Also, how dare you call me a racist? All you know is that I think he did it. Just because he is black does not make me a racist. It means I looked at the facts and came to my own conclusion. I am a white man who was raised his entire life in an inter-racial family. Three of my four siblings are Cuban whom my parents adopted before my birth. Bigotry is quite simply beyond me. And so is "going along for the ride" which is what Dylan did when he wrote that ironically beautiful song.

  • @Kruezoraxe Your premise that "bigotry is quite simply beyond me" is a straw man argument. Certainly some people from inter racial families are indeed racist. Submitting family history is irrelevant & inadequate in substantiating a claim of not being racially prejudiced. Quite frankly, it seems rather likely that you reached a desirable conclusion based on online "research" (evidence was insufficient for conviction). You sound like the biased officer in the King trial (delusional).

  • @GJT771 Regardless of what how inter-racial racial families affect "some people", it had a wonderful effect on me.

As for my "desirable" conclusion, that is bogus. The Hurricane used to be one of my favorite movies. The story is incredible and Washington is arguably the greatest actor alive. So I researched the true story...and it broke my heart. But desire to believe isn't evidence. So I changed my mind

Is it possible that you reached a desirable conclusion? Why do you think he is innocent?

  • @Kruezoraxe you watch and read to much bullshit what people put on the internet

there was no fucking evidence at all

only to fucked up snitches who fucked up there parole and there was white so they helped the cops buy saying yes it was them to..so they didnt have to go back to jail

but even they got railroaded they got sent back after rubin was found guilty again with the snitches help

im a white man AND IM NO FUCKING RACIST OK

go and get ya self a wank magg like playboy ur learn there

  • @MultiPlayaaa If you actually learn the history of the actual case and not listen to the movie, you might think differently.

I love how you say you're white AND not racist. As if you're defending yourself because it's possible for the two concepts to be contradictory. I do not see them as so.

Also, you'd be more compelling if you eliminated swear words from your evidence, used words correctly, and used evidence.

I loved this story and it broke my heart when I came to the conclusion i did.

  • figures you'd say that you must be a racisat white devil!

  • He did it. The movie was completely fallacious.

Google Hurricane Carter other side of the story

All the evidence is in that website

  • @Kruezoraxe your fuking stupit worm

  • @djvinals22 Well said. I'm completely convinced after your enchanting tale

  • @Kruezoraxe how do you say that they did it? There were no tests to say that they did, only a bunch of testimonies of "He said, She said" Thus bringing on the fact of the neutral. Think about it, If you were charged of a murder, a triple murder, and there was little to no evidence, wouldn't you say that there was no real proof of evidence? Also there are things such as the sature that there were no other suspects, and there needed to be. You cannont, in court today, use prejudice in court.

  • @USful Circumstantial evidence is admissable in court if it can beat "beyond reasonable doubt" in a similar vein of science's "statistical significance beating chance". They were three men who matched the description and drove a car matching the description, and one of the men was trying to hide from the cops (this was Carter) less than 10 minutes after the call less than 10 blocks away. They were later identified by two independent witnesses who were not blind. And that's just the tip of it.

  • @Kruezoraxe However, there is the fact that they could have been lying, there are many cases that have that sort of thing. And how about when they put it to the federal court? Why didn't they try him a third time after he won on the federal level, if they knew he actually did it.

  • @USful The reason they didn't try him a third time was because most of the people involved were dead and the prosecution decided that they had better things to do. Do I agree with their statement, I don't know. But I can understand their reasoning. Either way, there was never any evidence that he didn't do it and a truckload of evidence that he did.

  • @Kruezoraxe Be as that may, there are always areas where there is false evidence. THey did not do a balistics testing, they didn't test if they fired the weapons, and the witness changed his story twice. I don't see that as the right evidence, but as you said, we will never know if was guilty or not. It can only be said be him.

  • @USful @GJT771 Also since you know that some of th witnesses changed their stories, then you should know that 4 of Rubin and Artis' alibi witnesses have admitted that Rubin asked them to lie for him. Also, the alibis of Rubin and Artis have changed over the years with 1 appearing to the police, another in Rubin's book, and another 1 in the book by James Hirsch. Isn't that somewhat suspicious

  • @Kruezoraxe There are blanks and suspisions to both, as i said before, there is no wat of knowing exect from the source itself.

  • @USful Just because there is some suspicion on both sides does not make it a 50/50 shot. There are a lot of problems with the current evolutionary theory but that doesn't mean creationism or intelligent design are alternative possibilities.

There is a whole lot more evidence against him than for him. The only evidence for him is the stuff we don't know such as the gun couldn't be found. As far as I know, there is no overt evidence that suggests his innocence

  • @Kruezoraxe True, but i always looks at things as a 50/50 chance, so that i am not supprised when one thing happens or the other.

  • @USful No you don't. Then you think the possibility that there are fairies, goblins, and leprechauns is 50/50.

Follow the evidence. Even if it doesn't lead you where you want it to. Follow the evidence.

  • @Kruezoraxe Then you go into the possiblity of there being false evidence, evidence can be altered, tampered, and false. From what i know, the federal judge ruled that the cases was based on prejudice, there fore unlawful. With that said, the evidence shown can be labeled unlawful and prejudice.

  • @USful Yes, it was found that Rubin was not given a fair trial. So you go through the evidence. And the only thing that is clear is that Rubin is hiding a lot

    His witnesses lied

Carter mailed a letter to a witness laying out the alibi and told her to "remember it"

Artis and Carter's alibis were contradictory and Rubin has since given 4 different alibis since the time of the murder

Either an innocent man was jailed or a guilty man is free. Both are horrifying. The truth deserves to be known

  • @Kruezoraxe And i agree with you on the last part.

  • 10:03 what an ugly fat red face!

  • Thanks for posting buddy....free society indeed!
