Fly From the Inside from Leave a Whisper is one of the songs that got me hooked on Shinedown! You do not even know how many times I played that thing over and over again and it is still on my playlist (the whole CD)! One of my FAVS!! :) Pure rock- it does not get much better than this! :)

This is a totally acoustic setting with no equipment, mics, reverb, etc. Reverb makes bad singers sound good. Brent is right on or near his voicings on just about every part of this song, which, from a singer and songwriter standpoint, is almost amazing considering the setting. This rocks, both the vocals and the strings. Anyone who doesn't appreciate this does not understand music and it's complicity. Not many performers can do this in this setting, and sound as good or even close to it.

@generaljim451 idk man, he can get pretty up there. Some performances he doesnt even try and hit em, but when he tries, there perfect. One of the few singers who knows he limits. He doesnt try for notes he know that he wont hit..saves a lot of shitty performances.

Definitely one of the best voices of the decade if not a generation I really dig any acoustic vocals with this guy and not to mention they put out a damn good CD but I know he CAN hit high notes try to sing on pitch with this guy impossible
