What u mean had no plot in the story?Her husband was the one that was with her brother when it all started?His people were all killed when her brother attacked and killed the guardian they were protecting?No part in the story?Overall this game was great for it's time.Story was touching and could relate to it in real life.Is about overcoming amazing odds and that love is more powerful than most people could ever think it is.

I love Grandia, I like the gameplay, I like the music.

Grandia 3 had the best battle system in any turned based RPG for me.

But seriously.... in G3 the character development was bad, I swear Ulf and Dahna were just there to fit into the 4 party slot. The story didn't suck me in as much... And the ending made me wanna cry cause it was soooo.. Argh >_>

This game was so bad, To beat this boss you had to Power lvl like 30 levels to beat him, and he still was difficult, he attacks you 3 times before you can attack once, and at lvl 65 he 1 hit Alfina, and Dahna with some gay shit move, was fucking retarded. Was the gayest boss in history cause when I got here in the Story I was level 38, and had to power Level to 65 to have a chance, and I even had the best Equipment, Spells, and everything, and this boss was still a faggot.

One of the reasons for this would be: Doesn't matter how much you level up, your characters won't act faster than the enemy no matter what level.

I trained for like 10 levels while fighting some weak enemies once, and even after 10 levels, the order of attacks was exactly the same... Grandia1 did this a lot better, if you were high level, you could blitz anything...

@OSUTerrellePryor 65? For real? I was a 54 and stomped Xorn in about 45 minutes. All you have to do is defend away from Death Knell and keep everyone healed. Toss a little Unama's Orb in there halfway through and it's a cinch.

Square Enix had to interfere. Grandia 1 was great as it is with a high score of 9.2 if i remember correctly. Grandia 3 only scored 7.2. The ending disappointed me as well. No game shall ever match Grandia 1!

it did indeed suck, but it wasn't rating breaking suck. It was like.... "HaHA, you just spent 50-100 hours playing a game for THIS!! PWNT!!"

But if you want a game with enough ending sequence, try playing metal gear solid 4 or 5. the endings are like 40+ mins long.

Tell me, is this an RPG or a Lifetime Movie? I gave up on the 2nd disc of this game... the bosses were annoying and the plot didn't hold my attention. Also, Alfina has to be the most shrill waste of space ever in a game of this genre. Looking at this ending, I'm don't think I missed out on a lot. What a sack o'crap. Numbers 1 and 2 were so much better...

This game had potential. Alonso and Miranda were both unique characters to the Grandia universe, but they tossed them aside, never to be seen again. And for what? Some Justin knockoff saving the world with a cheap Elena/Feena combo? To add to it, Ulf is what Rapp and Mareg's man-child would be. And then they throw in Tits McGee for the hell of it. Yeah, this'll only wallow in the shadows of Grandia's 1 and 2's glory.

This grandia game really disappointed me, the first 2 were amazing, never played Xtreme, but this one was weak it makes me sad to see the seiries start to decline. Grandia 1 was the best overall, play that if you haven't to see what I mean.

Yeah,agreed with that. Especially with 00:21,they sound like "Ooooohh.. Fire crackers.." I thought they've improved a lot after the crappy voice-acting in Grandia1..

One of the few US-dubbed RPG i played that has Great VAs is Xenosaga,i really love Margullis's and Nephilim's in Xs3..(She sounds odd in Xs1) Tales of Legendia has nice VAs too..(though i dislike Chloe's,Moses's and Jay's..)
