  • will u sell the rawlings for 230

  • @chumchum737 that's a good price! good to know

  • @Heavilinhobby how much for spongebob?

  • @chumchum737 Very expensive. 5 bucks plus shipping ha

  • @Heavilinhobby it might be a wile b4 i will get $230 tho

  • how do u get that pro preferred model? i cant find it anywere

  • @skate4life032 you can buy mine as i just got another glove... it has never been used in practice or a game. only played catch in driveway with my dad and had it steamed. it is slightly broken in at the finger tips but the bottom of the glove is VERY STIFF. 280 new plus tax=300. normally a used glove is worth less but this glove is very rare as is special edtion gold label. sell it for what i paid 300 plus shipping costs. i just don't have time to break in this glove.

  • You do know that wison a2k and a2000 mean two completely different things and are made of different leathers right?

  • @safetykids911 lol yeah i goofed up there didn't i. i did know the difference but kept saying it wrong. oops

  • I'm deciding between a2k or pro preferred which one do you recommend

  • @MDbaseball3 right now i would say a2k is my pick. both are good but a2k seems to have a better shape and doesn't take as much effort to get it going

  • Is the Rawlings gold glove the same one you had when u were 12 and 14

  • @blackberrylover111 no the one i had when i was 12 was a gold glove, and the one i have now is pro prefered

  • hey hey you know dont mess with the glove

  • @chrispaulassist3 funny!

  • is it bad if your glove doesnt close around the ball if it is how can i fix that

  • @STLCardFan05 not sure what you mean. if you mean it doesn't pinch the ball and keep it in the glove because it is too tight, that is no biggie you just have to work it in more. if it is too loose and the ball falls out, that is bad and may need restitched or new glove...

  • @Heavilinhobby its almost brand new, so hopefuly it will when i break it in somemore

  • hmm, condition its in?

  • I'll buy ur a2k for 80

  • @pencilpusher51 a bidding war? haha. send me your # on a private message here and i'll text you a video of it to make sure you like it. my dad said make sure it is ok with your parents. then we'll do a deal using pay pal. i think you'll like it. it is ready to use and needs no breaking in.

  • @Heavilinhobby I'll buy your spongebob glove :D :P

  • @ADAMskating ha made me laugh. SPONGE BOB GLOVE IS NOT FOR SALE!

  • @Heavilinhobby damn it.... :D

  • @Heavilinhobby why are you selling your a2k

  • @skateboarding294 my dad wants me to change. i like the a2k and may end up just getting a new a2k...

  • @Heavilinhobby If your looking for a new a2k i suggest looking into the a2000 SuperSkin. SuperSkin is twice as durable as leather and half the weight very nice glove and easy to break in

  • @iFLayvuR thanks i'll look at it

  • @Heavilinhobby I will be happy to buy your a2k, respond please and let me know a price

  • @Heavilinhobby a bidding war? haha. send me your # on a private message here and i'll text you a video of it to make sure you like it. my dad said make sure it is ok with your parents. then we'll do a deal using pay pal. i think you'll like it. it is ready to use and needs no breaking in.

  • what modele a2k is it

  • @kingted50 it is a2k pro-stock select. wanna buy it? i'm thinking of getting another one but a little bigger... idk. i think it is 11 or 11 1/4. can't tell. it was given to me by tony wolters (drafted in pros out of high school, 3 yr usa team starter & mvp of afflack all-american games) so it has a little magic dust on it. my videos have that glove in it until recently. i had the broken stitch restitched.

  • Would you suggest the Nokona Bloodline?

  • @iFLayvuR not sure. my nokona is growing on me but not in love with it yet

  • looking to get a nnew glove. ralwings pro preffered modified trapeze? or an I web wilson a2k? which do you prefer?

  • @vfbaseball6 man... that is a good one. i like both. i'm just coming off an a2k and totally in love with it and going to rawlings which i'm convinced will be my glove for the future but not in love with it yet as it is too stiff. i would say that i know the a2k will be good for sure so i'd go with it. later i bet i'll say rawlings but i'm not there quite yet.

  • @Heavilinhobby thanks, one more quick question. do you prefer modified trapeze web or "I" web for playing short?

  • how do u break in your gloves

  • @nunjab for me, i just use them. no special method. it takes awhile for a glove to really feel good to me...

  • Hey cole, i'm 13 almost 14 and was wondering if you think an 11.5 is better than an11.25 glove for shortstop and pitching, or why 11.25 is better... i'm looking to get an A2K in either one

    -Kevin

  • do you think a rawlings gge11.50 is a good glove for shortstop and third base??

  • @Baseballking214 yeah i do. i've heard good things.

  • @WoWistretard that glove looks sick! only 65 dollars on epic sports. let me know how you like it.

  • im looking for that exact wilson a2k model. any idea where i can get it?

  • @vfbaseball6 i am not sure where to get it. mine was a hand me down gift from my mentor. i assume just at most any serious sport store should have them or ebay? cole

  • what exactly doyou mean by deflecting?

  • @badgerhockey99 it is a way of catching the ball without closing your glove. you just deflect it to your other hand. using your palm of your glove hand like a backboard instead of grabbing it with your glove and then reaching in for it with your throwing hand. deflecting is quicker but you have to practice it a lot or you'll make more errors with it.

  • @Heavilinhobby o alright. thanks

  • Sorry about all the posts my computers messed up

  • @muzzytime1 its all good

  • Ya, what positions do you play and what do you hit in the order?

  • @muzzytime1 i've hit all over the order. right now i'm batting clean up.

  • @Heavilinhobby nice im hitting 1 and i play shortstop.

  • @muzzytime1 you must be a speedster

  • @Heavilinhobby nice. i hit 1 and play shortstop.

  • @Heavilinhobby what type of model is that A2k?

  • Nice gloves!! I have a nokona also. I'm trying to get an A2K or a Rawlings like the black one but I web.

  • @muzzytime1 yeah i think i'll use my nokona next but the a2k keeps falling onto my hand when i open my bag... i get kinda stuck on gloves

  • Nice gloves. I have a nokona

  • dude wtf your wierd..

  • How did you break in those gloves? In particular, the black pro preferred? and how did you shape it? thanks

And one more thing do you put two fingers in the pinky and shift them over?

    thanks

  • @youbute2007 one pinky in and just shape it/ break it in by using it. i like the palm to be very open and not close like a book as much

  • this kids a goof!!

  • if anybodys intrested i have a rawlings limited edition pro taper gold glove. not the same quality of leather, but if you're looking for a glove with the same webbing/looks its a decent glove

  • a1000. i used to have that one. i liked it a lot.

  • right now i have the a1000, and i really like it, and this summer im going to get an

catchers mit and infeild mit like urs

  • GOOD NEWS. i just went into sport about in encinitas, california and they have two more special edition gloves. ask for grant and tell him cole heavilin sent you.

  • IDK where to find them. maybe e-bay?

  • hey it would be greatly appreciated if you could tell me where to find one of those rawling gold glove special edition.

  • i think it takes awhile to break in

  • i probably won't sell it. i like it. if someone wanted it bad enough, i might. i will sell my primo never used in a game or practice for 250.

  • @Heavilinhobby well is it broken in or does it take a long time to break it in if someone bought it off your hands?

  • ok great i kno its used so do u want it for $75?

  • @ernest6100 trapeze and you're dreamin with 75. haha

  • @Heavilinhobby do you mean the price goes up??

  • @Heavilinhobby and isnt it your glove that your trying to sell to me

  • ok i play baseball and i wanna know where u got the rawlings special edition pro preferred glove and i would be very much appreciated if u told me where u got the glove.

  • @ernest6100 just got lucky. when i went to the store to buy a glove. it was there. i haven't used it much and would sell it if someone offered me a big enough price

  • @Heavilinhobby ok i know its used so ill say $60 for it?

  • @Heavilinhobby also what kind of webbibg is his rawlings glove?

  • @ernest6100 it is 11.5

  • i don't know where castroville is so i don't think so

  • Them like longer

  • Hey DuDe ya those modified trap iz very nice n that I how did yu get yur laces long like on that 2k I got a gold glove limited n want 2 get the

  • @Sittinoncandy the laces just stretched and when i tightened them, i had a bunch of long laces. i liked them long so i kept them like that

  • @Sittinoncandy gold glove limited is good. a2k has been my fav and can't seem to give it up. it is broken in so well but is a hair small

  • @Heavilinhobby yea i have a gold glove limited also i love it

  • la costa is that by castroville

  • @TheHondo2 north san diego

  • la costa is that by castorville

  • i had that exact same rawlings, and it got super flimsy so last night i bought a new wilsoni friend has the nokina as u for about 4yrs and it is broken in and the fingers are still stiff

  • @11ublack good to know thanks

  • i had that exact same rawlings, and it got super flimsy so last night i bought a new wilson

  • Which glove do you use in games now?

  • @hellomynameisbill100 still stuck on my a2k

  • 250. only played catch with it about a dozen times in the driveway. never use in a single practice or a game.

  • how much do u want for that primo

  • idk because i got this glove as a gift from my mentor, tony wolters, and it was already broken in

  • how long does it take to break in the a2000?

  • I have that exact same Nokona Kimera

  • @BrandonBaseball10 how do you like it?

  • @Heavilinhobby I like it a lot! the down side is that you have to tighten the laces frequently, it gets kind of flimsy sometimes. Im going to get a Pro Proffered before high school

  • @Heavilinhobby sorry for the late response haha.... i like it a lot, but it comes loose very often. im getting a new glove soon though

  • 11.25

  • the MTZ is awesome but it is a little stiff yet to use in games. i play with it whenever i can in practice. never heard of valle gloves. would liket to see it.

  • HAAAA! My youngest has the same spongebob!...nice clip...thanks for the clip...

my 13-yr old fell in love with his pro-preferred...infielders glove...

my 9-yr old loves his HOH Fastback(mesh) catcher glove...

...my 9-yr old just ordered an infielders SOTO glove...can't wait to see that...

I'm also interested in the MTZ gloves out of So. Cal...and the Valle glove...let me know how that MTZ works out for...and enjoy that game you love...BASEBALL!....

  • Thanks for the help! will try to buy Pro preferred and thanks for the offer for the primo......I just dont have that kind of money

  • i also just got a new glove MDZ. a company from san diego and gloves are made in mexico, not china. it is an awesome glove but not broken in yet. you can customize it, colors (mine is red white blue) and have your name stitched on it so noone will want to steal it. i think they are about 125-175 brand new. GREAT GLOVE. maybe look online for them. i also like my nokona which is american made.

  • I am 14 yrs old and I am in 8th grade

  • @joshua21deguzman we are same age. i would go pro preferred if you want to buy a new one. i also have a primo i would sell for 250. never used in a single practice. just around the driveway playing catch with my dad. it is a heavy glove but some people like them.

  • @Heavilinhobby What kind of Primo

  • how old are you? i may have some older gloves that you can buy. or just go rawlings pro preferred if high school age or gold glove if younger. good gloves.

  • COLE-MAN HELP!.....As we all know spring is near and thats mean Baseball is near and I really need a new INFIELDERS glove.....So what is the best you can recommend to me-specifically in catching line drives and ground balls (NOTE my limit is $199.99) Thanks in Advance

  • @MRjoshua93033 yeah me too

  • @MRjoshua93033 no i haven't. you like it? tell me about it

  • @Heavilinhobby it seems the better gloves do take a little more time to break in and they keep their shape longer over the years

  • thanks for letting me know. didn't know that... cole

  • That a2k is Dustin pedroias game day glove just different color

  • leather is very different. i was going to use it but now i found a glove i like more so it is still on hold. i'll review the new glove after i use it awhile. i still am breaking it in.

  • have you used the nokona yet? i think they should stick to kip leather or stearhide instead of messing around with kangaroo and buffalo leather. i was just wondering if it is similar to regular leather.

  • on the modifed trap-eze web, does all that extra lacing add more weight then the i web??

  • @badgerhockey99 hmmm never thought of that. i guess it probably does. good point. we should get a weight scale and measure it.

  • josh koscheck

  • cole ummmmm..... i want a b1 the bomb and the a2000 but if i get a a2k i cant get the bat. So what should i do.

  • @TheBaseballfreak84 it it's a LL bat, i have some i can sell you. if it's the drop 5, i wouldn't get it anyway. get the a2000.

  • it is hard for me to get used to anything now that my a2k is worked in perfectly. it just feels a bit small.

  • your gloves are really great gloves.I love the a2k and its nice that tony wolters gave it to you. You really know about gloves.

  • are you rich

  • @doworkson91197 we live pretty nice

  • no offense taken. most of mine are 11.25 but my pro preferred is 11.5. i don't see a feel a difference at all

  • dude not to be mean but i use a 11.50 inch glove but and its not even big

  • how did you break in the a2k?

  • @dperrybaseball no tricks just using it and putting it in my bag with balls always in it

  • wow u got lots of expensive gloves

  • @eastontpxdud yeah i like to experiment and learn what is better

  • they just sold out oh right hand throws lol i liked the the way it was a lot, the pocket was amazing not too deep but not too shallow made but it turns out ill have to find another glove. have u owned a heart of the hide before

  • @MrBaseballer123 no not yet

  • coleman i found the perfect glove its a pro preffered 11.25 with a modified trapeze it costs about $219

  • @MrBaseballer123 why do you think it's perfect? why do you like the modified web?

  • now im still 13 and i was just clocked at 75 mph from 60 ft

  • @Dmod1000 wow that's good. they always like velocity.

  • im going with the rawlings pro mesh 11.25 thnks for the info . dude u have so much vids its ridiculous

  • @MrBaseballer123 too many videos?

  • @BHeavilin123 no its just sick i can watch baseball year round :D

  • Comment removed

  • i really cant decide if i want a rawlings pro preffered trapeze or a wilson a2k i web

    any suggestions

  • @MrBaseballer123 if high school , i would go with pro preferred because it will last thru high school. if middle school i would go with a2K because it is more of a transition glove from little kid glove to adult gloves. js

  • Comment removed

  • also coleman could u ask ur dad or if u know "how do u tighten a i web"

  • @MrBaseballer123 i just take it to a shoe repair place and they do it for next to nothing.

  • @baseball4life337 i'll check it out. thanks.

  • go with the rawlings pro preferred but remember to break it in two fingers in the pinky...dont question it just do it.

  • @baseball4life337 going to use the nokona soon. a2k is great.

  • what wilson is that?

  • @nyfan1318 a2K

  • @Heavilinhobby sorry i mean what is the number?

  • @nyfan1318 11 1/4

  • dude im so with u i play middle infield and im about ur age id rather have a 11.25 so im buying a rawlings pro mesh probably

  • @MrBaseballer123 heard good things about it. light glove.

  • You will love that Pro Preferred when you get older. They break in so nicely. Try putting two fingers in the pinky finger on one of your gloves. I find that it makes for a more natural close. I started doing that and now it feels soo weird the other way.

  • @kimsterjizznugget i did that for a couple years until i started deflecting in middle infield work. then it didn't feel right to have my fingers down the row like that. couldn't deflect as well. do you still deflect with the two fingers in the pinky hole?

  • @Heavilinhobby What do you mean by deflecting? And also, do you ever use your Primo?

  • @kimsterjizznugget deflecting is a way of catching a ball and getting it to your hand quickly for a speedy transition. see the video "cole-man triple crown world series steamboat co" and in the first sequence, you'll see me do it on the double play in slow motion. let the ball hit your glove without closing your glove and then knock it down to your throwing hand which is below the glove. very very fast transitions this way.

  • @Heavilinhobby Ohhh I gotcha! Yeah the two fingers in the pinky really just help with catching a ball as it makes a deeper pocket. But a lot of pros that are middle infielders use this technique but its all preference. I think it feels way more natural but that's just me.

  • Sorry, here's my real comment on SB. The only real problem with sponge-bob's swing is that he's hitting style is kind of a combination Ty Cobb and early, early, early Henry Aaron. The combination resulting in hands spread and wrong hand on top. Other than that, looks like he had a good weight shift, he's quite aggressive and though his follow through is a little unconventional, I don't think you could change it without losing some aggressiveness.

  • @nakedvolleyball funnie and funnier!!

  • Do a video about breaking in a glove
