Hallo Friends! Like it or not but Marco has a lot of technique and a sense of beauty difficult to find elsewhere. Said this, I like to comunicate that the flat tom is neither a rototom nor a bendir (I could write a book about its interpretation), but it is simply a 12"x2" flat tom I made for him, with flat rim (for hand use) and the snare is a 8"x4.5" with normal rims. In any case thanks a lot for the nice words about them, Fabrizio.

what info cn you tell me about the Snare & Flat Tom ? I am tempted go to this kind of setup or very similar and was even before seeing this idea besides I was gonna be using a mountable and tunable frame drum
@imobsolete1 That is a lightweight portable conga, not a tom. They sell them at all the big music stores and your local shop can order them. They go from 100 bucks on up....
@Goatboy44spl Hi friend! It's not a portable conga: it's a flat tom.....I know because it was built by me! In any case notwithstanding the importance of the instrument, it's more important to focus the attention to Marco's hands (and feet, obviously)because they are the "real" instrument! The most of us with the best instruments can't afford to play Marco's rythms. On the other side giving him rubbish or a piece of broken bycicle, you will hear incredible sounds and melodic rythms. continue...

Oh, that's so cool. Nothing like a bit of inventive, creative, talented funk! I've got myself a cajon now...but I'd never be able to get that funky! :) Great stuff!

@imobsolete1 - could be wrong, but it looks like a low roto tom, with some added presence through the mic.
