This is real and not faked in any way. He did a great job...it is not that difficult to do if you play guitar...it may be impressive and look like trickery to non-guitar players. Overall -He did a nice job of it!!!

this is not well played though, I am not saying he is not good, I tried to learn it and I couldn't but he does not play this well at all, and the version I tried (was six string) alot of it was played on one string, he is not overcoming limitations, he is is just creating limitations.

it makes him different than the other players. its his signature. if he played with all 6 strings he isn't special in any way, just another guitar player. but playing 1 string gives you something to refer to for example "1 string Willie" lol
