I am being realistic. Harvard and Yale have VERY low acceptance rates. To get into those schools you have to be the best of the best. That means having the best test scores, best grades, extracurriculars, volunteer work and etc. And even if you have all of those you may get rejected.

yeah.......you're thinking 1300 out of 1600.  What you really got is 1300 out of 24oo. Your real score on a regular 1600 scale isan 860 out of 1600. Check the percentiles. That is the percentage of people you beat. So if you're in the 40th percentile, that means that you can beat 40 out of 100 people.

the average SAT score is 1500 i believe. Each section is out of 800 so you got 420/800 CR, 440/800 M, 440/800 WR. & The average for each section is about 500/800.

It depends, just because you weren't in the 99th percentile doesn't mean that you're a failure, or that you won't suceed in life. All these losers who are commenting and putting you down are being very mean. You beat thousands of other people who took the test and you can get into college. You're more than just a test score. :)
